Pelaksanaan Program Kampus Mengajar Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka di SDS Riama Medan Berdasarkan Perspektif Filsafat Pendidikan Progresivisme John Dewey

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pendidikan saat ini yang selalu berusaha membentuk kepribadian manusia sebagai subjek sekaligus objek pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ingin melihat program Kampus Mengajar dalam perspektif progresivisme John Dewey untuk melihat peran dan dampaknya bagi siswa tanpa menghilangkan hak atas kebebasan siswa untuk terus berkembang. Kerangka teoritis soal filsafat pendidikan aliran progresivisme ini sekaligus membedakan penelitian ini dengan penelitian sejenis, khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Sejalan dengan latar belakang, penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan. Pertama, menjelaskan pelaksanaan kontekstual Kampus Mengajar di SDS Riama Medan. Kedua, menganalisis peran Kampus Mengajar sebagai bantuan pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar di SDS Riama Medan ditinjau melalui filsafat pendidikan progresivisme John Dewey.

Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka tentang masalah aktual dengan metode kualitatif. Tahap pertama mengumpulkan bahan dan materi penelitian melalui penelusuran pustaka tentang pendidikan, filsafat pendidikan, progresivisme pendidikan, dan kampus mengajar. Tahap kedua, data-data yang terkumpul dari bahan penelitian dianalisis menggunakan unsur-unsur metodis, yaitu deskripsi, interpretasi, dan induksi.

Hasil penelitian ini adalah pertama, implementasi program Kampus Mengajar di SDS Riama Medan memberikan dampak positif bagi sekolah, mahasiswa pengajar, dan siswa mulai dari meningkatnya partisipasi siswa hingga transformasi peran pendidik. Kedua, Prinsip-prinsip progresivisme John Dewey, khususnya partisipasi siswa hingga hubungan guru dan murid diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di SDS Riama Medan melalui peran kampus sebagai bantuan pelaksanaan. Program ini membantu meningkatkan variasi cara pengajaran, keterampilan sosial dan kepemimpinan siswa, keterampilan presentasi siswa, keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses pendidikan.

This study was motivated by the current education system's efforts to shape human personalities as subjects and objects of education. Therefore, this study wants to see the Kampus Mengajar program from the perspective of John Dewey progressive education to see the role and impact on students without eliminating the right to freedom of students to continue to develop. The theoretical framework on the philosophy of progressive education at the same time distinguishes this study from similar studies, especially in the field of education. In line with the background, this study has two objectives. First, to explain the contextual implementation of Kampus Mengajar at SDS Riama Medan. Second, to analyze the role of Kampus Mengajar as an assistance in the implementation of teaching and learning activities at SDS Riama Medan viewed through the philosophy of John Dewey progressive education.

The method of this research is a library research on actual problems with qualitative methods. The first stage is to collect research materials and materials through literature searches on education, philosophy of education, educational progressivism, and campus teaching. The second stage, the data collected from the research material is analyzed using methodological elements, namely description, interpretation, and induction.

The results of the study are first, the implementation of the Kampus Mengajar Program at SDS Riama Medan has a positive impact on schools, teaching students, and students starting from increased student participation to the transformation of the role of educators. Second, the principles of John Dewey progressivism, especially student participation to the relationship between teachers and students are implemented in teaching and learning activities at SDS Riama Medan through the role of campus as an assistance in implementation. This program helps to improve the variety of teaching methods, students' social and leadership skills, students' presentation skills, and parent involvement in the educational process.
