SUBJEKTIVITAS PASCAMODERN DALAM BINGKAI SASTRA DIGITAL: SEBUAH KAJIAN FIKSI HIPERTEKSTUAL A MODERN MORAL FAIRY TALE KARYA DEENA LARSEN DAN MAJE LARSEN

Fenomena sastra digital yang semakin menonjol melahirkan tantangan baru dalam kajian sastra. Fiksi digital, sebagai bentuk inovasi baru dalam dunia sastra lahir atas dasar perkembangan teknologi digital dan informasi. Meskipun produksi sastra digital masih didominasi oleh sastra cetak, tetapi inovasi-inovasi sastra digital terus berkembang hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengalaman dalam membaca karya sastra melalui teknik hyperlink dalam sastra digital A Modern Moral Fairy Tale. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan melihat dan menelaah proses ketika pengalaman-pengalaman dalam membaca sastra digital membawa pada subjektivitas pascamodern.

Kajian sastra digital ini menggunakan teori sastra digital khususnya pada konsep tentang pengalaman. Dalam melihat konteks dari pengalaman-pengalaman tersebut, teori pascamodern oleh Jean Baudrillard menjadi landasan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah yang kedua. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer teks atau satuan-satuan Bahasa visual dari sastra digital A Modern Moral Fairy Tale, sedangkan data sekunder berupa konteks atau satuan-satuan informasi, tindakan, dan pikiran mengenai subjektivitas. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara simak dan membaca cermat, diklasifikasi berdasarkan jenis data, dan dianalisis dengan cara mencari hubungan antara pengalaman antara sastra digital dengan subjektivitas.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman dalam membaca sastra digital A Modern Moral Fairy Tale terdiri dari chaos, disorientasi, dekonstruksi dan de-centeredness, intertekstualitas, serta multivokalitas. Pengalaman-pengalaman tersebut secara potensial dapat membentuk subjek dalam era pascamodern. Subjektivitas pascamodern dalam bingkai sastra digital membuktikan bahwa sastra, dengan teknik hyperlink, dapat membentuk subjek yang plural. Kondisi sosial pascamodern yang identik dengan globalisasi, interaksi, dan komunikasi secara global dapat menumbuhkan pluralitas identitas. Pluralitas ini kemudian mewujudkan paham pluralisme dan toleransi yang sangat populer dalam tatanan global.  

Digital literature phenomena create new challenges in literary studies. Digital fiction is a new form of innovation in literature that was born on the development of digital and information technology. Even though digital literature production is still dominated by printed literature, digital literary innovations continue to develop today. This study aims to identify experiences in reading literary works through the hyperlink technique in digital literature A Modern Moral Fairy Tale. In addition, this research will also examine the process in which experiences in reading digital literature lead to postmodern subjectivity.

This study uses digital literature theory, especially on the concept of experience. In looking at the context of these experiences, the postmodern theory by Jean Baudrillard becomes the basis for answering the second problem formulation. This study uses primary text data or visual language units from digital literature A Modern Moral Fairy Tale, while secondary data is in the form of contexts or units of information, actions, and thoughts regarding subjectivity. Data were collected by observing and reading carefully, classified by type of data, and analyzed by looking for the relationship between experience between digital literature and subjectivity.

The result shows that the experience of reading digital literature A Modern Moral Fairy Tale consists of chaos, disorientation, deconstruction and De-centeredness, intertextuality, and multivocality. These experiences potentially shape the subject in the postmodern era. Postmodern subjectivity within the framework of digital literature proves that literature using the hyperlink technique can form plural subjects. Postmodern social conditions that are more inclined to globalization, interaction, and communication can encourage a plurality of identities. This plurality manifests the notions of pluralism and tolerance, which are very popular in the global order.
