Perancangan Resor dengan Pendekatan Biofilik di Bukit Paralayang Kemuning

Kabupaten Karanganyar, dan Gunung Lawu secara spesifik, menyimpan banyak sekali potensi untuk menjadi salah satu spot wisata favorit dengan alam yang indah dan asri budaya yang menarik, dan beragam aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan. Salah satu potensi yang dimilikinya adalah mempunyai bukit yang dapat dipergunakan sebagai landasan take off olahraga paralayang. Olahraga ini semakin hari semakin diminati oleh wisatawan yang mencari adrenaline. Selain paralayang, bukit ini juga menyuguhkan pemandangan hamparan perbukitan yang sangat luar biasa. Disayangkan, fasilitas yang ada masih belum terlalu dikembangkan dan yang sudah ada pun terkesan kasar dan tidak tertata dengan baik. Diperlukan suatu akomodasi yang dapat mendukung pariwisata pada bukit ini. Dengan demikian dinilai bahwa tipologi resort merupakan tipologi yang mencakup semua yang dibutuhkan, baik itu area makan, area menginap, area nongkrong, dan juga mengakomodasi pusat paralayang yang mengatur aktivitas paralayang di bukit ini.

Pendekatan biofilik dipilih untuk tetap menjaga alam, memasukkan alam, dan menikmati alam semaksimal mungkin. Dengan pendekatan ini, pengunjung dapat lebih merasakan kehadiran alam disekitar mereka, sehingga dapat merasa lebih rileks dan nyaman. Desain biofilik tidak hanya memperhatikan aspek alam saja, namun juga aspek budaya dari wilayah setempat.

Adanya resort ini diharapkan dapat mendukung sektor pariwisata di Gunung Lawu dan Kabupaten Karanganyar

Karanganyar, or to be more specific, Mount Lawu holds a very great potential to be a great tourist destination. This place have a very spectacular nature, great culture, and a lot of activities that can be done. One of its great potential is the hill they have that is called “Bukit Paralayang” or Paralayang Hill. This particular hill has on its possession the slope that can be used as a take off runaway for paragliding activites. The imterest in thisvsport is growing day by day and are enjoyed by them who seeks the thrill of adrenaline. From this hill the vast land of mount lawu can be seen and enjoyed, the scenery  itself almost felt surreal. The disavatage this hill has is the development that seems harsh and wild, this could cause permanent damage to the nature. The facilitation here is also not up to par, this place needs an accommodation that can provide the appropriate facilities so that the tourism sector can develop more. Resort as a typology is assessed to be the most suitable typology to be developed on this Paralayang Hill. The facilities this resort might provide such as, dining area, lounge area, swimming pool, gym, spa, and also the paralayang center that will regulate the paralayang activity on this hill.

Biophilic design was chosen as the most appropriate way of designing because of the nature that is surrounding this place. With biophilic design, the nature will be protected, appreciated, and combined with the resort itself. With biophilic design, those who stayed at this resort will feel more connected to mother nature, and so they will feel more relaxed and comfortable. Other than taking care of nature, biophilic design also appreciate the local cultural aspect.

This resort is seen as a way to support and improve the tourism sector at Karanganyar and Mount Lawu.
