Musik termasuk salah satu sektor industri yang memiliki potensi besar dalam dunia hiburan. Perkembangan musik dapat dilihat dari pertumbuhan kuantitas musisi setiap tahunnya serta meningkatnya jumlah prestasi di bidang musik yang diraih dalam kancah nasional hingga global. Besarnya antusiasme dan minat para pelaku musik menunjukkan bahwa sektor musik berpotensi tumbuh menjadi industri yang lebih besar.

Perancangan pusat industri musik kreatif di Kota Bekasi bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi berbagai kegiatan di bidang musik yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para musisi dan pecinta musik di Bekasi untuk belajar, berekspresi dan berkreasi. Penulis menggunakan penekanan pada prinsip-prinsip fleksibilitas dalam arsitektur sebagai strategi mengolah elemen tata ruang dalam dan luar untuk mencapai kualitas desain yang fleksibel dan memiliki konektivitas dengan ruang publik Kota Bekasi.

Music is one of the industries with great potential in the art and entertainment sector. The development of music can be seen from the development within the number of musicians every year as well as the increasing number of achievements in the field of music achieved at the national and worldwide / global levels. The amount of enthusiasm and interest from musicians shows that music has the potential to grow into a bigger industry.

The design of a center for the creative music industry in Bekasi City aims to facilitate various activities in the music sector that can be used by musicians and music lovers in Bekasi to work and be creative. The author uses an emphasis on the principles of flexibility in architecture as a strategy to process interior and exterior spatial elements to achieve design quality that is flexible and has connectivity with the public spaces of Bekasi City.
