PENERAPAN PERJANJIAN JUAL BELI PADA AKUN GAME ONLINE VALORANT DI MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji mengenai keabsahan perjanjian jual beli pada akun game online Valorant di Instagram. Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai keabshan perjanjian beserta hubungan hukum diantara para pihak penjual, pembeli, dan pemilik platform jual beli akun game online Valorant dan upaya hukum dalam mengatasi wanprestasi yang dilakukan oleh penjual maupun pembeli dalam bertransaksi jual beli akun game online Valorant.

Penelitian dilakukan dengan jenis metode penelitian normatif empiris yang dimana metode ini memandang dimana metode ini memandang hukum sebagai fenomena sosial sehingga lebih meneliti hukum dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mencari data primer yang diperoleh dari studi pustaka yang diperoleh dari berbagai peraturan perundang-undangan, buku, literatur, tesis, skripsi, makalah, jurnal hukum, serta bahan-bahan lainnya yang terkait dengan penelitian serta data sekunder yang diperoleh dengan dilakukan wawancara dengan responden dan narasumber

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertama, keabsahan perjanjian jual beli akun game online memiliki persyaratan yang sama dengan perjanjian elektronik dan perjanjian konvensional, terdapat hubungan hukum antara penjual dengan pembeli, penjual dengan pemilik paltfrom, maupun pembeli dengan pemilik platfrom. Perjanjian jual beli akun game online Valorant tidak diatur secara khusus dalam Undang-Undang namun diatur secara tersirat. Kedua, upaya hukum saat terjadi wanprestasi dalam perjanjian jual beli akun game online dapat diselesaikan dengan negosiasi antar pihak disertai dengan pemilik platform jual beli.

This study aims to find out and examine the validity of buying and selling agreements on Valorant online game accounts on Instagram. This study describes the validity of the agreement and the legal relationship between the sellers, buyers, and the platform owner for buying and selling Valorant online game accounts and legal remedies in overcoming defaults committed by sellers and buyers in buying and selling transactions for Valorant online game accounts.

The research was carried out with a type of empirical normative research method in which this method views law as a social phenomenon so that it examines law more in society. This research was conducted by searching for primary data obtained from literature studies obtained from various laws and regulations, books, literature, theses, theses, papers, legal journals, and other materials related to research. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that first, the validity of the sale and purchase agreement for online game accounts has the same requirements as electronic agreements and conventional agreements, there is a legal relationship between the seller and the buyer, the seller and the platform owner, as well as the buyer and the platform owner. The sale and purchase agreement for Valorant online game accounts is not specifically regulated in the law but is implied. Second, legal remedies in the event of default in the sale and purchase agreement for online game accounts can be resolved by negotiation between the parties accompanied by the owner of the buying and selling platform.
