Analisis Penerapan Strategi Korporasi Pada PT Indonesia Power Menggunakan Parenting Needs

Pendekatan analisis penelitian ini menggunakan corporate parenting profile yang bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat kesesuaian critical success factors anak perusahaan dengan parenting characteristic perusahaan induk, sehingga di dapatkan parenting needs anak perusahaan yang menggambarkan posisi pengasuhan anak perusahaan ke dalam enam kategori yang berbeda yaitu financial sponsor, hands-on manager, hands-off owner, strategic guide, functional leader dan family builder.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT CDB dan PT ADC membutuhkan
strategi pengasuhan pemimpin fungsional (functional leader), dimana perusahaan induk dan anak perusahaan dapat memanfaatkan
layanan bersama untuk membangun keunggulan biaya dan memfasilitasi integrasi
global dan kolaborasi global. Perusahaan induk juga menyediakan kapabilitas
strategis melalui pusat kompetensi yang terkait dengan penjualan, pemasaran, dan
operasi. PT PIT dan PT ITH membutuhkan strategi
pengasuhan panduan strategis (strategic guide), yang
secara tatakelola perusahaan induk dapat memberikan anak perusahaan pedoman
strategis dan target, serta tantangan rencana strategis. Perusahaan induk
menangani keputusan keuangan dan strategis, anak perusahaan mempertahankan hak
untuk keputusan dan pelaksanaan operasional.
The corporate parent has the potential both to create and to destroy significant amounts of value based on its activities and the resulting benefits and costs for the businesses. PT Indonesia Power is one of the Subsidiaries PT PLN (Persero), the scope of this research is only on 4 subsidiaries of PT Indonesia Power which are under common control entities namely PT Cogindo Daya Bersama, PT Artha Daya Coalindo, PT Putra Indotenaga, and PT Indo Energi Hijau. The problem in this research is that revenue from sales of Indonesia Power has decreased every year, so initiative strategies from beyond kWh are needed to increase revenue from subsidiaries. Hence the need for evaluation and analysis related to business alignment initiatives between Indonesia Power and its subsidiaries.
The approach to this research analysis uses a corporate parenting profile which aims to assess the degree of compatibility of the critical success factors of a subsidiary with the parenting characteristics of the parent company, so that the parenting needs of a subsidiary are obtained which describe the parenting position of a subsidiary into six different categories, namely financial sponsor, hands-on manager, hands-off owner, strategic guide, functional leader and family builder.
The results of the study show that PT CDB and PT ADC need a functional
leader nurturing strategy, whereby parent companies and subsidiaries can
leverage shared services to establish cost advantages and facilitate global
integration and global collaboration. The parent company also provides
strategic capabilities through competence centers related to sales, marketing
and operations. PT PIT and PT ITH need a strategic guide nurturing strategies,
which in terms of parent company governance can provide subsidiaries with
strategic guidelines and targets, as well as challenges to strategic plans. The
parent company handles financial and strategic decisions, the subsidiary
company retains the rights to operational decisions and execution.
