REDESAIN TEROPONG MESIN SHUTTLE UNTUK PENINGKATAN PRODUTIVITAS KAIN PT UNGGULREJO WASONO

Industri tekstil ialah salah satu tulang punggung industri manufaktur tidak hanya industri otomotif di Indonesia. Industri tektil berkontribusi besar dalam meningkatkan perekonomian negara, dan dengan terciptanya lapangan pekerjaan, memenuhi kebutuhan sandang masyarakat dan memberikan devisa untuk negara. PT Unggulrejo Wasono merupakan salah satu perusahaan tekstil di Indonesia. Pada proses produksinya diawali dengan proses penghanian melalui persiapan 1, dilanjutkan proses pengkanjian melalui persiapan 2, setelah itu proses pencucukan dan diakhiri penenunan menggunakan 2 tipe mesin yaitu weaving 1 dan weaving 2. Pada proses produksi di PT Unggulrejo Wasono terdapat waste yang cukup banyak. Selain itu juga waste ini bisa juga ditimbulkan dari alat yang digunakan dalam proses produksi. Oleh karena itu, akan dilakukan redesain pada alat yang menimbulkan waste sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas. Pada penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi masalah yang ada kemudian melakukan pengumpulan data di lapangan yang selanjutnya diolah menggunakan metode mapping waste dan pareto chart. Analisis yang dilakukan meliputi kekurangan pada alat sebelumnya dan dilakukan redasain pada alat tesebut. Selain itu juga reduksi waste yang ditimbulkan dan biaya yang diperlukan. Hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa redesain alat dapat memaksimalkan proses produksi pada proses penenunan weaving 1/ shuttle. Waste total yang tereduksi yaitu dari 5618,9 kg menjadi 4016,8 kg. Biaya total yang tereduksi yaitu dari Rp 325.296.000,00 menjadi Rp 180.252.000,00. Dari hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa dengan redesain alat yang dilakukan pada alat teropong membuat waste berkurang dan produktivitas dari perusahaan meningkat.

The textile industry is one of the backbones of the manufacturing industry, not only the automotive industry in Indonesia. The textile industry contributes greatly in improving the country’s economy, and by creating jobs, meeting the clothing needs of the community and providing foreign exchange for the country. PT Unggulrejo Wasono is one of the textile company in Indonesia. The production process begins with the reflining process through preparation 1, continues with the starch process through preparation 2, after that the washing process and ends with weaving using 2 types of machines, namely weaving 1 and weaving 2. In the production process at PT Unggulrejo Wasono there is quite a lot of waste. In addition, this waste can also be generated from the tools used in the production process. Therefore, a redesign will be carried out on the tools that cause waste so as to increase productivity. In this study, it begins by identifiying existing problems and then collecting data in the field which is then processed using waste mapping and pareto chart methods. The analysis carried out includes deficiencies in the provious tool and redesign of the tool. In addition, it also reduces the waste generated and the costs required. The result of the analysis that have been carried out show that the redesign of the tool can maximize the production process in the weaving 1/shuttle. The reduced total waste was from 5618,9 kg to 4016,8 kg. The reduced total cost is from Rp 325.296. 000, 00 to Rp 180.252. 000, 00. From the calculation results show that the redesign of the tool carried out on the binoculars makes waste less and the productivity of the company increases.
