Penerapan Metode Class Based Storage untuk Tools dan Spare Parts pada Gudang CV Aneka Tractors

Penelitian penerapan manajemen ini bertujuan untuk relayout pada gudang tool dan spare part di Gudang CV Aneka Tractors. Manajemen yang ada di gudang tool dan spare part tidak berjalan efektif karena tata letak barang tidak diatur berdasarkan jenis dan fungsinya , sehingga menyulitkan proses pencarian barang. Untuk memperbaiki hal ini perlu adanya relayout dan penataan ulang gudang tool dan spare part berdasarkan jenis dan fungsinya dengan membuat metode baru yang lebih efektif. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini menggunakan metode class based storage, prosedur yang digunakan diantaranya membuat daftar seluruh barang pada gudang tool dan spare part, mengukur dimensi gudang tool dan spare part, relayout gudang tool dan spare part, pengelompokan tool dan spare part sesuai jenis dan fungsinya, setelah prosedur manajeman gudang menggunakan metode class based storage diterapkan maka dilakukan pengujian efektivitas waktu sehingga bisa mendapatkan indeks presentase efektivitas untuk mengukur tingkat keberhasilan dalam penerapan manajemen yang baru. Hasil pada pengujian efektivitas waktu sebelum penerapan dan sesudah penerapan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, yang mampu menghemat waktu dengan tingkat indeks persentase sebesar 44,72% menjadi lebih cepat.

This management application research aims to relayout the tools and spare parts warehouse at the CV Aneka Tractors Warehouse. The management in the tools and spare parts warehouse does not work effectively because the layout of the goods is not arranged by type and function, making it difficult for the process of finding goods. To fix this, it is necessary to have a relayout and rearrangement of the tools and spare parts warehouse based on their type and function by making new methods that are more effective. The method used for this study uses a method class based storage, the procedures used include making a list of all items in the tools and spare parts warehouse, measuring the dimensions of the tools and spare parts warehouse, relayout tools and spare parts warehouse, grouping tools and spare parts according to their type and function, After the warehouse management procedure using the class based storage method is applied, time effectiveness testing is carried out so that it can get an effectiveness percentage index to measure the level of success in implementing the new management. The results of testing the effectiveness of time before implementation and after application there are significant differences, which can save time with a percentage index rate of 44.72% being faster.
