Valuasi Ekonomi The Kaldera Toba Menggunakan Metode Biaya Perjalanan

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis nilai ekonomi kawasan ekowisata The Kaldera Toba sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman pengambilan keputusan bagi pengelola. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh sosial ekonomi terhadap intensitas kunjungan dan Travel Cost Method (TCM) melalui analisis Wilingnes to Pay serta Surplus Konsumen untuk menentukan valuasi ekonomi kawasan The Kaldera Toba. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap intensitas kunjungan adalah pendapatan dan biaya perjalanan. Analisis surplus konsumen menghasilkan nilai Rp140.640 per individu per tahun. Rata-rata kunjungan adalah 1,3 kali sehingga surplus konsumen menjadi sebesar Rp184.238 nilai ini jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan aktual kontribusi The Kaldera Toba yaitu Rp20.000/orang sehingga manfaat yang diterima oleh wisatawan atas pengelolaan jasa lingkungan tergolong tinggi. Jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung tercatat sebanyak 9.681 sehingga potensi ekonomi wisatawa mencapai Rp2.336.531.655,02. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi bagi pengelolaan dan pengembangan The Kaldera Toba di masa mendatang.

This study aims to analyze the economic value of the ecotourism The Kaldera Toba area so that it can be used as a decision-making guide for managers. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis method to determine the socio-economic effect on visits and Travel Cost Method (TCM) through the analysis of Wilingnes to Pay and Consumer Surplus to determine the economic assessment of The Kaldera Toba area. This study resulted in the finding that the factors that most influence the increase in visits are income and travel costs. Consumer surplus analysis yields a value of IDR 140,640 per individual per year. The average visit is 1.3 times the consumer surplus to IDR 184,238 this value is much higher than the actual contribution of The Kaldera Toba, which is Rp. 20,000/person, so that the benefits received by tourists from the management of environmental services are high. The number of tourists who visited was recorded at 9,681 so that the potential for economic tourism reached IDR 2.336.531.655,02. This research is expected to contribute to the management and development of The Kaldera Toba in the future.
