Jurnalisme Naratif pada Artikel Longform Rubrik Indepth Tirto.id: Analisis Stuktur Narasi, Foto, dan Unsur Kelengkapan Berita (5W+1H)

Di tengah gegap-gempita digitalisasi, jurnalisme naratif dan longform journalism adalah konsep yang dekat dengan praktik jurnalisme hari ini. Berangkat pada pemahaman bahwa jurnalisme naratif adalah subgenre dari longform journalism, penelitian ini berusaha melacak kehadiran struktur narasi teks, foto, serta unsur kelengkapan berita (5W+1H) dalam artikel longform rubrik Indepth Tirto.id. Guna menganalisis struktur narasi dan foto, peneliti menerapkan analisis naratif. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui keberadaan 5W+1H, peneliti menggunakan analisis isi. Dengan berpedoman pada lima jenis struktur narasi yang diutarakan Lacey (2000) dan definisi 5W+1H oleh Barus (2010), hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Artikel rubrik Indepth Tirto.id telah menerapkan gaya naratif dengan menghadirkan struktur narasi yang variatif; 2) Kehadiran foto di artikel digunakan Tirto.id sebagai sarana untuk memperkuat cerita; dan 3) Artikel rubrik Indepth memiliki semua unsur 5W+1H yang kehadirannya mendukung karakteristik jurnalisme naratif berita dari segi topik, kompleksitas cerita, dan dramatisasi.

Amid digitalization, narrative journalism and long-form journalism are concepts that are close to each other. Emphasizing the idea that narrative journalism is a subgenre of long-form journalism, this study tries to trace the narrative structure, multimedia elements (photos), and the completeness of news elements (5W+1H) in long-form articles on the Indepth rubric on Tirto.id. To analyze the application of narrative structure and photos, the author applies narrative analysis. Meanwhile, to find the existence of 5W+1H, the author applies content analysis. By referring to the five types of narrative structures described by Lacey (2000) and the definition of 5W+1H by Barus (2010), the results of the research show: 1) In-depth rubric articles on Tirto. Id apply narrative style by presenting varied narrative structures; 2) The presence of photos in the articles are used by Tirto. Id to strengthen the story, and 3) In-depth rubric articles on Tirto.id have all the 5W+1H elements whose presence support the characteristics of narrative journalism in terms of topics, complexity of the stories, and dramatizations.
