INTISARI Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Peranan Dewan Kehormatan Notaris Wilayah terhadap Notaris yang melakukan pelanggaran promosi melalui media elektronik tokopedia di Banten dan penegakan kode etik bagi notaris yang melakukan promosi melalui media elektronik tokopedia di Banten. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum yuridis-empiris dengan sifat penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari responden dan narasumber. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari penelitian lapangan. Sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari penelitian kepustakaan, bahan hukum sekunder dan bahan hukum tersier. Analisis data dalam kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian Peranan Dewan Kehormatan Notaris Wilayah terhadap pelanggaran notaris yang melakukan promosi melalui media elektronik tokopedia di Banten dan penegakan kode etik bagi notaris yang melakukan promosi melalui media elektronik tokopedia di Banten yaitu berperan aktif upaya menegakan kode etik notaris terhadap pelanggaran kode etik notaris. Penegakan kode etik notaris, dilakukan pada saat Dewan Kehormatan Wilayah tersebut mendapatkan laporan dari masyarakat bahwa ada notaris yang melakukan pelanggaran. Peranan Dewan Kehormatan Wilayah dalam hal penegakan kode etik notaris bergerak langsung, setelah Dewan Kehormatan Wilayah mendapatkan laporan dari masyarakat bahwa dianggap terjadi pelanggaran, pertama kali De wan Kehormatan Notaris Wilayah langsung mendatangi kantor notaris yang dianggap melanggar ketentuan kode etik dan Dewan Kehormatan Wilayah memberikan sanksi berupa teguran.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know and to analyse The Role of the regional notary honorary council against notary violation who promotes through tokopedia electronic media in Banten and to enforcement of the ethic code for notary who promotes through tokopedia electronic media in Banten. This type of research is a juridical-empirical law research with a nature descriptive research. The subject of research consists of both respondents and sources. The data used is primary and secondary data. The primary data are obtained from field research while the secondary data are obtained from literature research, secondary legal and tertiary legal materials. The data analysis in this study uses qualitative method. The result of research the role of notary honorary council againts notary violation who does promotion through tokopedia electronic media in Banten and enforcement ethic code for notary who does promotion through tokopedia electronic media is very contributing to the effort of enforcing notary ethic code against the violation of notary ethic code. The enforcement of notary ethic code is done when that regional honorary council obtains report from society that there is any notary who does violation. The role of regional honorary council in the enforcement of the notary ethic code is not to be long lived, afer the regional honorary council obtains report from society that it is a violation, the first time the regional honorary council comes to the notary office that is in violation of the ethic code and the regional honorary council imposes penalty of reprimand.
