Modal Sosial dalam Proses Pengumpulan dan Pemanfaatan Program Gerakan Koin NU di LAZISNU Kabupaten Banyumas

Tesis ini memberikan penjelasan mengenai keberadaan modal sosial masyarakat NU khususnya dalam proses pengumpulan dan pemanfaatan Koin NU dengan lokasi penelitian di Kabupaten Banyumas. Program Koin NU merupakan upaya pengumpulan dana umat yang secara masif dikelola oleh LAZISNU. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan sumber data yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan observasi secara mendalam pada informan di lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan merupakan bentuk modal sosial yang mendasari para donatur mengikuti program Koin NU, di sisi lain norma yang berlaku turut menjaga keyakinan untuk bermanfaat bukan hanya untuk diri sendiri tetapi juga orang lain, dan keberhasilan program ini merupakan bukti baiknya jalinan informasi antar seluruh pihak yang terlibat didalamnya. Sementara itu strategi program dan pemanfaatan hasil Koin NU meskipun diatur melalui SOP yang berlaku di tingkat kabupaten, namun pada kenyataan dilapangan berbagai program inovasi dikembangkan oleh tingkat akar rumput untuk menjaga eksistensi Program Koin NU di wilayahnya tersebut. Untuk pertukaran modal sosial yang terjadi dibagi dalam tiga bentuk, antara lain: penguatan akar kebersamaan masyarakat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), upaya kerjasama NU dengan kelompok masyarakat lain, dan kehadiran lembaga formal dalam Program Gerakan Koin NU.

This thesis gives explanation about the existence of social capital of NU society especially in the process of collection and utilization of Koin NU. This research took place in Banyumas regency. Koin NU is a massively fundraising program managed by LAZISNU. This researh include in qualitative research, with data scources obtained from interviews and observations to informans the the research location. The result showed that trust was the form of social capital that made donor joined the Koin NU program. On the other hand, the applied norm also keep the believe to be beneficial not only for ourself but also for others, and the success of this program is a proof that there was a good comunication between the people who involved in it. Meanwhile, even though the program strategy and the utilization of Koin NU was managed through the standard operating procedure of Regency, in fact, various innovation of the program was developed by the grassroots in order to keep the existence of Koin NU program. There were three forms of social capital exchange, among them are: the reinforcement of NU society togetherness, the cooperation between NU and other groups of society, and the presence of formal institution in the Koin NU program.
