Sobat Ambyar dalam Neo-tribes : Ekspresi Kaum Muda di Era Modernitas Lanjut

Kaum muda di era modernitas lanjut akan terus berusaha mencari identitasnya. Mereka akan berpindah dari satu kelompok ke kelompok lain dan memilih kelompok yang tidak permanen atau tidak memiliki aturan tetap. Sobat Ambyar sebagai salah satu wadah bagi kaum muda yang menyukai musik Didi Kempot memberikan kebebasan kepada kaum muda untuk mendaku sebagai Sobat Ambyar. Tidak ada aturan yang mengikat, anggota bebas keluar masuk ke dalam Sobat Ambyar. Mereka melakukan serangkaian pertemuan tanpa ada tendensi apa-apa dan dipersatukan oleh hasrat dan emosi yang sama yang bersifat sementara, cair dan fana. Dalam keanggotaan Sobat Ambyar mereka tidak mengenal antar satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini memfokuskan kepada empat informan yang mendaku sebagai Sobat Ambyar tanpa tergabung dalam suatu kelompok yang permanen baik secara virtual maupun fisik yang disebutkan sebagai Sobat Ambyar Independen. Penelitian ini menganalisis bentuk-bentuk sosialitas yang terjadi dalam kaum muda Sobat Ambyar dengan menggunakan pendekatan neo-tribes, juga terbentuknya pola konsumsi yang mengarah pada gaya hidup. Penelitian ini mengaitkan kaum muda Sobat Ambyar di era modernitas lanjut dalam mencari identitasnya tanpa adanya aturan-aturan tertentu yang mengikat. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kaum muda Sobat Ambyar sebagai sebuah kelompok membentuk sosialitas di era modernitas lanjut yang bersifat sementara baik secara virtual maupun fisik. Bentuk sosialitas tersebut menjadi sebuah konsumsi yang mengarah pada identitas kaum muda seperti konsumsi musik, merchandise, dan media sosial. Kaum muda melakukan berbagai bentuk ekspresi untuk diakui sebagai Sobat Ambyar oleh teman-temannya, walaupun mereka menyadari bahwa identitas ini hanya bersifat sementara, namun ada perasaan bangga jika mereka dianggap sebagai Sobat Ambyar.

Young people in the era of late modernity will continue to try to find their identity. They will move from one group to another and choose groups that are not permanent or do not have fixed rules. Sobat Ambyar as a forum for young people who like Didi Kempot's music gives freedom to young people to claim to be Sobat Ambyar. There are no binding rules, members are free to go in and out of Sobat Ambyar. They had a series of meetings without any inclination and were united by the same passion and emotion which was temporary, fluid, and ephemeral. In Sobat Ambyar membership they do not know each other. This research focuses on four informants who claim to be Sobat Ambyar without joining a permanent group, both virtual and physical, which in this study are referred to as Sobat Ambyar independent. This research analyzes the forms of sociality that occur in the youth of Sobat Ambyar using the neo-tribes approach, as well as the formation of consumption patterns that lead to a lifestyle. This research links the young people of Sobat Ambyar in the late modernity era in finding their identity without certain binding rules. This analysis found that the young people of Sobat Ambyar as a group formed sociality in the late modernity era which was temporary, both virtual and physical. This form of sociality becomes a consumption that leads to identity for young people such as the consumption of music, merchandise, and social media. Young people do various forms of expression to be recognized as Sobat Ambyar by their friends, although they realize that this identity is only temporary, but there is a feeling of pride if they are considered as Sobat Ambyar.
