Kota Pati merupakan salah satu kota di Jawa Tengah yang berbatasan langsung dengan Laut Jawa dan memiliki banyak kekayaan alam di dalamnya. Pemanfaatan alam dengan mengolah hasil dari alam pertanian maupun perikanan merupakan hal yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat di dalamnya dan menjadi suatu daya tarik tersendiri di Kota Pati. Pengolahan yang menghasilkan kuliner - kuliner khas yang terkenal hingga mancanegara, salah satunya Nasi Gandul merupakan daya tarik yang menarik bagi wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke kota ini. Pusat dari Wisata Kuliner di Kota Pati terletak di Alun - alun pada mulanya. Namun, terdapat kebijakan pemerintah untuk merenovasi Alun - alun Simpang Lima guna mengembalikan fungsi awal sebagai Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Interaktif. Adanya dampak nyata akan kebijakan itu terlihat pada eksistensi pusat kuliner yang mulai memudar di pusat Kota Pati. Pedagang yang menyajikan kuliner - kuliner khas tersebar di bahu - bahu Jalan Protokol dan trotoar akibat tidak strategisnya lokasi pemindahan Pusat Kuliner yang baru, yakni di Perhutani Melihat kondisi yang demikian, dibutuhkannya fasilitas untuk mewadahi kegiatan / aktivitas pedagang kuliner khas Pati pada suatu titik. Hal tersebut dibutuhkan karena selain dengan menyebarnya pedagang - pedagang, kondisi Pandemi saat ini menambah dampak bagi masyarakat di Kota Pati, yakni perekonomian yang menurun dan tradisi berkuliner bersama bagi masyarakat Kota Pati juga menurun. Untuk itu, pemanfaatan lokasi yang ada di Pusat Kota Pati perlu dimanfaatkan dengan maksimal, melihat kondisi di atas dan kondisi dimana terdapat bangunan yang terbengkalai pada kawasan pusat kota tersebut. Perancangan fasilitas berupa bangunan Pusat Industri Kuliner dan Oleh - oleh Khas Kota Pati Mengantisipasi Pandemi dengan Layanan Deliveri dan Take-away perlu dilakukan untuk merespon kondisi yang ada.

Pati City is one of the cities in Central Java, directly adjacent to the Java Sea and has a lot of natural wealth in it. Utilization of nature by processing products from agriculture and fisheries is done by the people, became one of attraction in the city of Pati. Processing that produces culinary specialties that are well-known to foreign countries, is Nasi Gandul, an attractive attraction for tourists to visit this city. It all begun in Alun-alun, as The first center of culinary tourism in Pati City. However, the government decide to renovate the Simpang Lima Square to restore its original function as an Interactive Green Open Space (RTH). The real impact of this policy can be seen in the existence of a culinary center that is starting to fade in the center of Pati City. Food merchants are scattered on the side of Jalan Protokol and sidewalks due to the not strategic location of relocating the new Culinary Center, called Perhutani Seeing these conditions, facilities are needed to accommodate the activities at some point. Apart from the spread of food merchants, the current condition of the Pandemic is adding to the impact on the people in Pati City,include the declining economy and the decreasing of collective culinary tradition for the people of Pati City. For this reason, the utilization of existing locations in the City Center of Pati needs to be maximize, considering the conditions above and the conditions where there are abandoned buildings in the downtown area. The design of facilities in the form of a Culinary Industry Center building and Souvenirs in Pati City Anticipating a Pandemic with Delivery and Take-Away Services needs to be done to respond to existing conditions.
