Salah satu peralatan kelistrikan tegangan tinggi yang terdapat di Gardu Induk yaitu Saklar Pemutus Tenaga (PMT) atau disebut juga Circuit Breaker (CB). Circuit memiliki fungsi guna menghubungkan dan atau memutuskan rangkaian ketika kondisi berbeban. Saat menghubungkan atau memutus beban, akan terjadi tegangan recovery yaitu suatu fenomena tegangan lebih dan busur api, maka dari itu Circuit Breaker dilengkapi dengan media pemadam busur api, salah satunya yaitu dengan media pemadam gas SF6, Anomali yang sering terjadi di suatu gardu induk adalah penurunan tekanan gas SF6 akibat kebocoran, untuk tindak lanjut dari kebocoran gas SF6 tersebut diantaranya adalah dengan mengganti Pole pada salah satu Pole Circuit Breaker yang mengalami kebocoran atau hanya mengganti komponen rusak yang dianggap menjadi pemicu kebocoran gas SF6. Kebocoran gas SF6 telat ditindak lanjuti hingga tekanan gas SF6 kurang dari standar maka dapat menyebabkan Circuit Breaker tidak dapat bekerja atau istilah lainya nge Block.

When connecting or disconnecting the load, a recovery voltage will occur, which is an overvoltage and arcing phenomenon, therefore the Circuit Breaker is equipped with arc extinguishing media, one of which is using SF6 gas extinguishing media, An anomaly that often occurs in a substation is a decrease in SF6 gas pressure due to leakage, to follow up on the SF6 gas leak, among others, is to replace the Pole on one of the Circuit Breaker Poles that has a leak or just replace damaged components that are considered to be the trigger for SF6 gas leaks. . SF6 gas leaks are followed up late until the SF6 gas pressure is less than the standard it can cause the Circuit Breaker to not work or other terms to block.
