SISTEM INFORMASI KIOS RAKYAT BAGI RETAIL DAN KONSUMEN BERBASIS ANDROID

Sistem Kios Rakyat yang telah dikembangkan sebelumnya bertujuan untuk membantu retail dalam menjual produk di tokonya agar dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas dan meningkatkan pelayanan toko sekaligus membantu konsumen karena hanya perlu memesan produk yang ingin dibeli melalui sistem tanpa harus pergi keluar untuk mencari dan membeli produk di toko secara langsung. Namun masih ada permasalahan dalam sistem yang sudah dikembangkan ini, yaitu tidak adanya fitur khusus agar konsumen dan retail dapat berkomunikasi melalui sistem dan tidak adanya fitur untuk memberi tahu pengguna jika ada pemberitahuan terbaru dari sistem. Melalui permasalahan tadi maka dalam Sistem Kios Rakyat dibuatlah suatu fitur chat yang dapat membantu retail dan konsumen agar dapat melakukan obrolan dengan bertukar pesan melalui sistem serta fitur notifikasi agar konsumen dan retail dapat menerima pemberitahuan chat dan pesanan terbaru dari aplikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menambahkan fitur chat dan notifikasi pada Sistem Kios Rakyat yang sudah dikembangkan sebelumnya sehingga dapat digunakan baik oleh retail maupun konsumen untuk saling berkomunikasi dan menerima pemberitahuan informasi terbaru dari sistem. Sistem ini dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman Java, PHP, framework CodeIgniter 4 serta basis data MySQL dan Firebase.

The Kios Rakyat system that has been developed previously aims to assist retailers in selling products in their stores so that they can reach a wider market and improve store services while helping consumers because they only need to order the products they want to buy through the system without having to go out to find and buy products in the store and shop directly. However, there are still problems in the system that has been developed, there is no feature so that consumers and retailers can communicate through the system and there is no feature to notify users when there is a new notification from the system. Through these problems in the Kios Rakyat System, a chat feature was created that retailers and consumers can use to help chat messaing through the system as well as a notification feature so that consumers and retailers can receive chat notifications and the latest orders from the application. The purpose of this research is to add chat and notification features to the Kios Rakyat System that has been previously developed so that it can be used by both retailers and consumers to communicate with each other and receive notifications of the latest information from the system. This system is built using the Java programming language, PHP, CodeIgniter 4 framework and MySQL and Firebase databases.
