ANALISIS KELAYAKAN INVESTASI SERVICE CONTRACT PROJECT PADA LAYANAN PURNA JUAL DI PT. XYZ

Dalam rangka meningkatkan jumlah sepeda motor yang melakukan servis di bengkel resmi sesuai jadwal perawatan berkala khususnya pada usia sepeda motor tiga tahun pertama sejak pembelian di dealer, maka dibuat service contract project sebagai pengembangan dari layanan purna jual yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi kelayakan pembiayaan investasi dari project tersebut dengan menggunakan metode Capital Budgeting yaitu Payback Period (PBP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Profitability Index (PI), juga Analisis Sensitivitas dan Analisis Incremental. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi untuk pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dalam bisnis dan juga sebagai bahan pertimbangan bagi manajemen selaku pengambil kebijakan. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa service contract project dengan nilai investasi sebesar Rp 36,143,000,000.- dimana struktur modal 48% dari modal sendiri dan 52% dari hutang serta tingkat penjualan paket service contract dengan kondisi moderate sebesar 8% dari penjualan sepeda motor baru pada tahun pertama dan diasumsikan bertumbuh sebesar 5% pada tahun-tahun berikutnya, didapat PBP-nya terjadi pada tahun ke-5, NPV sebesar Rp 14,147,929,496.-, IRR sebesar 17.29% yaitu lebih besar dari nilai WACC (biaya modal) yang diisyaratkan sebesar 6.65%, PI sebesar 1.39, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa service contract project ini layak untuk dilanjutkan. Sementara dari hasil analisis sensitivitasnya, terjadi spektrum negatif dan positif yang sangat ekstrim pada variabel biaya modal kerja operasional karena adanya skema diskon jasa pada tahun pertama unit sepeda motor baru sebagai outflow, sedangkan dari hasil analisis incremental dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan adanya rencana service contract project ini, terjadi peningkatan arus kas positif pada bisnis layanan purna jual PT. XYZ.

In order to increase the number of motorbike servicing at authorized workshops according to regular maintenance schedules, especially at the age of the motorbikes in the first three years since their purchase at the dealer, a service contract project was created as a development of the existing after-sales service. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the feasibility of investment financing of the project using the Capital Budgeting method, such as Payback Period (PBP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Profitability Index (PI), also Sensitivity Analysis and Incremental Analysis. Furthermore, this research is expected to contribute to the development of science in business and also as a consideration for management as policy makers. The results showed that the service contract project with an investment value of IDR 36,143,000,000.-, where the capital structure is 48% of own capital and 52% of debt and the level of sales of service contract packages with moderate conditions is 8% of new motorcycle sales in the first year and It is assumed that it grows by 5% in the following years, it is obtained that the PBP occur in the 5th year, NPV is IDR 14,147,929,496. -, IRR is 17.29%, which is greater than the WACC (discount factor) value which is determined at 6.65%, PI amounting to 1,39, it can be concluded that the service contract project is feasible to continue. Meanwhile, from the results of the sensitivity analysis, there is a very extreme negative and positive spectrum in the variable operational working capital costs due to the service discount scheme in the first year of new motorbike units as an outflow, while the results of the incremental analysis can be concluded that with this service contract project plan, there was an increase in positive cash flow in the after-sales service business of PT. XYZ.
