SISTEM WHISTLEBLOWING DITINJAU DARI PRINSIP ETIKA BISNIS SONNY KERAF

Penelitian yang berjudul Sistem Whistleblowing Ditinjau dari Prinsip Etika Bisnis Sonny Keraf, dilatarbelakangi oleh dilema etis yang dialami oleh perusahaan terkait etis atau tidaknya tindakan whistleblowing. Sonny Keraf adalah salah satu tokoh etika dari Indonesia yang merumuskan lima prinsip etika bisnis, Prinsip Otonomi, Prinsip Kejujuran, Prinsip Keadilan, Prinsip Saling Menguntungkan, dan Prinsip Integritas Moral. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai etis sistem whitsleblowing menggunakan prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis Sonny Keraf. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka yang meliputi deskripsi, interpretasi, konherensi intern, holistika, dan idealisasi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, mulai dari pengumpulan data, klasifikasi bahan, hingga analisis data. Sumber data yang diperoleh diklasifikasi secara sistematis dan dianalisis guna mengetahui nilai etis dalam sistem whistleblowing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, sistem whistleblowing merupakan cara efektif untuk menanggulangi fraud, selain mengurangi tingkat kerugian yang diterima oleh perusahaan, tingkat partisipasi dan loyalitas karyawan juga akan meningkat dengan diberikannya reward kepada whistleblower. Kedua, secara ideal, berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis Sonny Keraf, sistem whistleblowing merupakan suatu sistem yang etis karena sejalan dengan prinsip etika bisnis Keraf, namun dalam pelaksanaannya, sistem whistleblowing masih sering bertolak belakang dengan Prinsip-prinsip Etika Bisnis Sonny Keraf. Dalam Pelaksanaannya prinsip paling signifikan adalah Prinsip Kejujuran, sedangkan Prinsip Integritas Moral karena masalah dan dilema yang ditimbulkan oleh prinsip ini menjadi prinsip yang kurang signifikan dalam pelaksanaan sistem whistleblowing.

The research titled Whistleblowing's System in Sonny Keraf's Business Ethic is situated by ethical dilemmas experienced by companies regarding whether or not whistleblowing is an ethical act. Sonny Keraf is one of ethics figures from Indonesia who formulated five principles of business ethics, the principle of autonomy, the principle of honesty, the principle of justice, the principle of mutual benefit, and the principle of moral integrity. This study aims to analyze the ethical value of the whistleblowing system using the principles of Sonny Keraf's business ethics. This research uses literature study method that consist of description, interpretation, internal conherence, holistic, and idealization. This research consists of several stages, starting from data collection, data classification, to data analysis. Obtained data are classified systematically and analyzed in order to determine the ethical value in the whistleblowing system. The results show that, first, the whistleblowing system is an effective way to tackle fraud, in addition to reducing the level of losses received by the company, the level of employee participation and loyalty will also increase by giving rewards to whistleblowers. Second, ideally, based on Sonny Keraf's business ethics principles, the whistleblowing system is an ethical system, because it is in line with Keraf's business ethics principles, however, in practice, the whistleblowing system is often in conflict with Sonny Keraf's Business Ethics Principles. In its implementation, the most significant principle is the Principle of Honesty, while the Principle of Moral Integrity due to problems and dilemmas caused by this principle is a less significant principle in the implementation of the whistleblowing system.
