PENATAAN KORIDOR JALAN BUAH BATU BANDUNG MELALUI PENDEKATAN "COMPLETE STREET"

Kota Bandung merupakan suatu Kota yang memiliki arah perkembangan ke tenggara, dimana menurut RTRW Kota Bandung tahun 2011-2031 akan dikembangkan suatu PPK (Pusat Pelayanan Kota) baru di bagian selatan yaitu PPK Gedebage. Dengan dikembangkannya PPK baru ini artinya Kota Bandung akan memiliki dua PPK. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dari kedua PPK diperlukan adanya sarana dan prasarana jalan yang dapat mendukung peran sebagai jalan penghubung pusat kota. Salah satu jalan yang dapat mengakomodir peran tersebut ialah Koridor Jalan Buah Batu. Meskipun memiliki peran yang penting, koridor jalan ini masih banyak memiliki masalah terutama pada isu kenyamanan visual, gerak, dan juga thermal yang dapat mengurangi efektivitas dari peran tersebut Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dan meningkatkan efektivitas peran dari koridor jalan ini, penulis menggunakan metode SSM yang merupakan suatu metode untuk menganalisis masalah yang tidak terstruktur dengan melihat berbagai sudut pandang yang dibandingkan dengan keadaan nyata. Metode ini pada akhirnya menghasilkan suatu rencana masterplan hingga rencana detail setiap elemen perencanaan melalui pendekatan Complete Street yang merupakan hasil elaborasi konsep ideal dari teori Visual Quality, Street for People, dan Green Street dalam menyelesaikan tiga isu permasalahan kenyamanan sebelumnya.

Bandung is a city that has a developmental direction to the southeast, where according to the document of RTRW Kota Bandung tahun 2011-2031, a new City Service Center will be developed in the southern part, namely PPK Gedebage. With the development of this new City Service Center, it means that Bandung City will have two City Service Center. To increase the effectiveness of these two City Service Center, it is necessary to have facilities and infrastructure of road that can support the role of a connector to the city center. One of the roads that can accommodate this role is the Buah Batu Corridor. Even though it has an important role, this road corridor still has many problems, especially on issues of visual, motion, and thermal comfort which can reduce the effectiveness of this role. To overcome these problems and increase the effectiveness of the role of this road corridor, the author uses the SSM (Soft System Methodology) method which is a method for analyzing unstructured problems by looking at various points of view compared to the real situation. This method ultimately produces a master plan to a detailed plan for each element of the planning through the Complete Street approach, which is the result of an elaboration of the ideal conceptual model from the theory of Visual Quality, Street for People, and Green Street in solving the three previous comfort issues.
