Analisa Kinerja Bisnis Unit Gula PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan tren harga pokok produksi (HPP), produksi dan produktivitas, biaya pabrik, keuntungan, serta posisi kinerja unit bisnis gula PTPN VII di Pabrik Gula Bunga Mayang dan Cinta Manis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan studi kasus melalui analisa regresi. Sumber data diperoleh dari wawancara dan data laporan Pabrik Gula Bunga Mayang dan Pabrik Gula Cinta Manis selama 10 (sepuluh) tahun terakhir (2009 s/d 2018). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Variabel waktu berpengaruh pada variabel harga pokok produksi (HPP) di PG Bungamayang. Variabel waktu tidak berpengaruh pada variabel harga pokok produksi (HPP) di PG Cintamanis. Variabel waktu tidak berpengaruh pada variabel produksi gula, produktivitas gula, biaya, keuntungan baik di Pabrik Gula Bungamayang maupun Cinta Manis. Berdasarkan analisa data perbandingan kinerja keuangan dan kinerja operasional pabrik gula milik PTPN VII terhadap pabrik gula PTPN Group yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, PTPN VII masih memiliki peluang besar untuk meningkatkan efisiensi usaha dan efektivitas operational unit bisnis gula.

The profitability of PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII (PTPN VII) sugar business unit in 2009-2018 were declining and recorded losses in certain years due to the rising cost. The purposes of this research are to understand: (1) the growth and trends in the production and productivity of PG Bunga Mayang and Cinta Manis (PG PTPN VII), (2) to find out the growth and trends of basic costs of production of PG PTPN VII, (3) the growth and cost trends of PG PTPN VII, (4) the growth and profit trends of PG PTPN VII, (5) the positioning of PTPN VII Sugar Business Unit's performance in comparison to the BUMN sugar industry. The basic method used is descriptive analytical research with case studies conducted based on data available at PG PTPN VII. Data from 2009 to 2018 was analyzed using growth and trend analysis method. The results of this study show the growth, production and productivity as well as the profits of PG PTPN VII showed a declining trend. While the cost of production of PG PTPN VII showed an increasing trend. To improve financial and operational performance, PTPN VII sugar mills needs to pursue excellent operational initiatives and cost efficiency measures.
