ALAT PENDETEKSI WARNA DASAR UNTUK MEMBANTU PENYANDANG BUTA WARNA MENGGUNAKAN ARDUINO DAN SMARTPHONE

Penyakit buta warna merupakan sebuah penyakit yang mengakibatkan kesulitan membedakan antar warna yang dilihat. Penderita buta warna cenderung mengalami kesulitan saat melihat warna merah, hijau, biru, atau campuran warna-warna. Buta warna sangat menganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat pendeteksi warna berbasis android yang efektif, murah dan sederhana untuk membantu para penyandang buta warna dalam mendeteksi warna dengan mudah. Alat ini dirancang menggunakan sensor ldr sebagai sensor warna, arduino uno sebagai mikrokontroller dan smartphone sebagai penghasil output. Kelebihan dari alat ini yaitu mengeluarkan suara lewat speaker smartphone. Alat ini bekerja ketika arduino sudah terhubung dengan android dan tombol pendeteksi ditekan. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan 6 sampel warna yang dapat dideteksi oleh alat ini yaitu warna merah, kuning, hijau, biru, putih dan hitam.

Color blindness is a disease which reduced the quality of color vision. People who are color blind inclined to have difficulty seeing red, green, blue, or a mixture of colors. Color blindness is very disturbing daily activities. This research aims to make a color detector using andorid which effectively, cheap and simple to help people with color blindness to detect colors easily. This instrument is designed using the LDR sensor as a color sensor, arduino uno as a microcontroller and smartphone as an output generator. The advantage of this instrument is the sound could through smartphone speakers. This instrument works when Arduino is connected to Android and the detection button is pressed. The results of this research is obtained 6 color samples which can be detected by this instrument that is red, yellow, green, blue, white and black.
