HASRAT KHALID KHALIFAH DALAM NOVEL LA SAKAKINA FI MATABIKHI HAZIHI AL-MADINATI: PSIKOANALISIS LACANIAN

2020 | Tesis | MAGISTER SASTRALa Sakakina Fi Matabikhi Hazihi Al-Madinati (La Sakakina) merupakan novel yang berisi tentang kehidupan keluarga tokoh Aku yang hidup di bawah pemerintahan rezim al-Asad. Peristiwa-peristiwa dalam novel tersebut menyiratkan adanya kedekatan antara kehidupan tokoh Aku dengan Khalid Khalifah sebagai pengarang sekaligus rakyat Suriah. Adapun hal itu menunjukkan indikasi bahwa hasrat Khalid Khalifah termanifestasi melalui Novel La Sakakina. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasrat pengarang yang termanifestasi dalam novel. Teori yang dimanfaatkan adalah teori psikoanalisis Jacques Lacan. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menganalisis rangkaian penanda pada Novel La Sakakina melalui mekanisme metafora dan metonimi. Berdasarkan penyelidikan terhadap rangkaian penanda dalam Novel La Sakakina, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel tersebut merupakan perwujudan hasrat Khalid Khalifah di tatanan simbolik. Selain itu, ditemukan dua hasrat utama Khalid Khalifah, yaitu hasrat menjadi penulis hebat Suriah dan hasrat memiliki kebebasan. Hasrat menjadi penulis hebat Suriah yang diakui dunia didapatkan dari citraan ideal sastrawan Suriah dan tokoh terkenal dunia. Hasrat tersebut tidak lain adalah hasrat menjadi eksis di dunia simbolik sehingga ia mampu bertahan dari represi liyan simbolik. Kemudian, hasrat memiliki kebebasan adalah keinginan terdalam Khalid Khalifah dan rakyat Suriah untuk meruntuhkan kekuasaan rezim al Asad. Novel La Sakakina merupakan senjata bagi Khalid Khalifah untuk menyuarakan revolusi.
La Sakakina Fi Matabikhi Hazihi Al-Madinati is a novel that narrates the life of a family who lives under the rule of the Al-Asad regime. The events in the novel imply proximity between the life of I and Khalid Khalifahs as the author and at once as a Syrian people. Thus, it shows an indication that Khalid Khalifahs desire is manifested through the novel. To find out the authors desires, research is conducted by utilizing Jacques Lacans psychoanalytic theory. The method is used to analyze the series of signifiers in the novel through the mechanism of metaphor and metonymy. The outcome of this research discovered that the novel embodies Khalid Khalifahs desire in a symbolic order. Moreover, there are two main desires of Khalid Khalifah that are found in the novel. First, the desire to become a world-recognized Syrian writer which is derived from the ideal image of famous writers in Syria and well-known figures in the world. This desire of being is the urge to exist in the symbolic order so that he can withstand symbolic repression. Second, the desire to have freedom is the deepest desire of Khalid Khalifah and the Syrian people to undermine the power of the Al-Asad regime. It can finally be said that La Sakakina Fi Matabikhi Hazihi Al-Madinati is a weapon for Khalid Khalifah to voice the revolution.
