Menguatnya Structural Power Perusahaan Multinasional Terhadap Negara: Foxconn di Ceko

Negara seringkali didefinisikan sebagai entitas tertinggi dalam pengambilan kebijakan didalam ranah kedaulatan wilayahnya, termasuk entitas privat dan individu. Paling tidak sampai dengan Foxconn sebagai perusahaan multinasional di Ceko hadir. Menguatnya Structural Power menjadi salah satu unsur penting dalam terjadinya perubahan ini, alih-alih negara menjadi entitas tertinggi dalam ranah kedaulatannya. Dalam kasus Foxconn di Ceko, perusahaan multinasional memiliki Bargaining Power yang baik terhadap negara, demikian negara tidak lagi memegang kewenangan absolut atas entitas lainnya dalam ranah kedaulatannya, yang salah satunya disebabkan oleh menguatnya Structural Power Foxconn sebagai perusahaan multinasional yang beroperasi di Ceko. Sehingga, Structural Power telah banyak mengubah relasi antara keduanya, dan akan mengubah bagaimana perusahaan multinasional beroperasi serta mengambil kebijakan dalam panggung politik di Ceko, selamanya.

The state is often defined as the highest and most powerful entity in policy making in the realm of it's own sovereignty, including private and individual entities. At least up to Foxconn as a multinational company in the Czech Republic was present. Strengthening Structural Power is one of the important element in the occurrence of this change, instead of the state being the highest entity in the realm of its sovereignty. In the case of Foxconn in the Czech Republic, multinational companies have great bargaining power over the state, so the state no longer holds absolute authority over other entities in the realm of its sovereignty, one of which is due to the strengthening of Foxconn's Structural Power as a multinational company operating in the Czech Republic. Thus, Structural Power has changed the relationship between the two, and will change how multinational companies operate and take policy on the political stage in the Czech Republic, forever.
