Pengaruh Praktik Manajemen Mutu Terpadu Terhadap Inovasi Dengan Turbulensi Pasar Pada PT Terang Bersaudara

Manajemen Mutu Terpadu (MMT) merupakan sebuah pendekatan sistematis untuk meningkatkan kinerja terkait dengan kualitas produk, produktivitas dan profitabilitas. MMT saat ini mulai mendapat perhatian besar baik oleh praktisi bisnis maupun akademisi. Selain MMT, inovasi juga berperan penting untuk meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif. Faktor lainnya yang mempengaruhi penerapan MMT terhadap kinerja perusahaan, yaitu faktor turbulensi pasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT Terang Bersaudara. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan tersebut adalah belum optimalnya penerapan sistem manajemen kualitas yang berdampak terhadap rendahnya kinerja perusahaan. Manajemen Mutu Terpadu dapat dibagi menjadi dua bagian besar yaitu praktik infrastruktur MMT (komitmen manajemen puncak, keterlibatan karyawan, dan fokus kepada pelanggan) dan MMT Inti (perbaikan berkelanjutan, manajemen aliran proses dan hubungan dengan pemasok). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh praktik infrastruktur MMT, pengaruh MMT inti, pengaruh turbulensi pasar dalam memoderasi pengaruh praktik infrastruktur MMT, dan pengaruh turbulensi pasar dalam memoderasi pengaruh praktik MMT inti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausalitas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh karyawan PT Terang Bersaudara (180 orang). Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling dan diperoleh jumlah sampel sebesar 124 responden berdasarkan dengan perhitungan rumus slovin. Data primer diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada para responden. Hasil dari kuesioner diberi nilai dan dianalisis dengan uji statistik validitas, reliabilitas, dan uji asumsi klasik dengan metode analisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik infrastruktur MMT dan praktik MMT inti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja inovasi pada PT. Terang Bersaudara. Sedangkan turbulensi pasar tidak memoderasi pengaruh praktik infrastruktur MMT dan tidak memoderasi pengaruh praktik MMT inti terhadap kinerja inovasi pada PT. Terang Bersaudara.

Total Quality Management (TQM) is a system designed to improve system and productivity. This concept get great attention for both business organizations and academics. Innovation is also important to increase competitive advantage. There is other factor that influence the implementation of TQM on company performance: market turbulence factor. This research was conducted at PT Terang Bersaudara. The company should improve TQM system because it is facing low performance of innovation. The purposes of this study are to identify the influence of TQM Infrastructure practices, the influence of core TQM, the influence of market turbulence in moderating the influence of MMT Infrastructure practices, and the influence of Capital Market turbulence in moderating the influence of core Integrated Quality Management practices. This research used the causality method using quantitative. The respondents of this study were all employees of PT Terang Bersaudara (180 people). The sampling technique conducted purposive sampling method and obtained a sample size of 124 respondents based on the calculation of Slovin formula. Primary data were gathered from a questionnaire that was distributed to the respondents. The results of the distribution of the questionnaire were scored and analyzed with a statistical test of validity, reliability, and the classic assumption test. The data analyzed using multiple regression with SPSS. The results show that Integrated Quality Management Infrastructure Practices and Core Integrated Quality Management Practices significantly positive effect to innovation performance at PT. Terang Bersaudara. While Market Turbulence does not moderate the influence of TQM infrastructure practices and does not moderate the influence of core TQM on innovation performance at PT.
