Analisis Strategi Bersaing Fintech P to P Lending di Indonesia Studi kasus pada PT. XYZ

2020 | Tesis | MAGISTER MANAJEMEN (KAMPUS JAKARTA)Di revolusi 4.0, industri keuangan harus dapat mengintensifkan pemanfaatan teknologi industri tidak hanya dalam rangka efisiensi namun juga karena tuntutan masyarakat yang menghendaki proses transaksi yang semakin mudah dan efisien. Salah satu inovasi jasa keuangan yang terjadi pada revolusi industri 4.0 adalah financial technology (fintech). Strategi bersaing yang tepat diperlukan oleh perusahaan dalam menghadapi perubahan yang terjadi dan persaingan yang ketat.Rendahnya inklusi keuangan menyebabkan industri fintech di Indonesia khususnya P2P lending mempunyai potensi yang sangat besar untuk berkembang ke depannya mengingat masih banyaknya kebutuhan pendanaan masyarakat yang belum terpenuhi.PT. XYZ adalah peer to peer lending platform sektor produktif yang menghubungkan pelaku UMKM yang membutuhkan pembiayaan untuk mengembangkan usaha dengan kumpulan Pemberi Pembiayaan yang memiliki dana lebih untuk membiayai usaha tersebut. PT.XYZ hadir sebagai profesional di pasar teknologi finansial di Indonesia dengan menyediakan pembiayaan bagi UMKM Industri kreatif dengan memanfaatkan aset dan inventori usaha sebagai jaminan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman (SWOT) pada PT XYZ sehingga dapat mengetahui tingkat efektivitas penerapan strategi bersaing PT XYZ dalam menghadapi persaingan; serta menganalisis strategi alternatif yang sebaiknya dilakukan PT XYZ dalam menghadapi perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi pada lingkungan eksternal dan lingkungan internal perusahaan sehingga dapat menghadapi persaingan di industri P2P lending Indonesia.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mengumpulkan data primer yang diperoleh melalui metode riset lapangan dengan melakukan wawancara kepada jajaran manajemen perusahaan dan asosiasi fintech dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui metode riset kepustakaan dengan membaca referensi secara manual. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT yang dilakukan, maka strategi bersaing yang dijalankan oleh PT XYZ masih efektif atau relevan dalam menghadapi perubahan yang terjadi dan persaingan yang ada.
In Industry 4.0, the financial industry must be able to intensify the use of industrial technology not only in the framework of efficiency but also because of the demands of people who demand easier and efficient transaction process. One of the financial services innovations that occur in Industry 4.0 is financial technology (fintech). Appropriate competitive strategies are required to face the change of external and internal environment so the company can survive in a strict competition. The low financial inclusion in Indonesia is a big opportunity for Fintech, especially for P2P lending. P2P lending has a huge potential in the future due to funding gap in public funding.PT. XYZ is a peer-to-peer lending platform for productive sectors that connects SMES who need financing to develop businesses with a financing group that has more funds to finance the business. PT XYZ provide financing for SMES creative industries by utilizing business assets and inventories as collateral. This research aims to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats/SWOT in PT XYZ so that the company can define whether their strategy is effective in facing competition; And analyzing alternative strategies that PT XYZ should do to the face of changes that occur in the external and the internal environment of the company so that it can face competition in the Indonesian P2P lending industry. The research method used is collecting primary data obtained through a field research method by conducting interviews to company management and fintech associations and secondary data obtained through research methods by reading the reference manually.
