UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN "ASY`AMU TAU`AMIN" DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN AHLU AL-HAYYI KARYA YUSUF ZAIDAN: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan unsur-unsur intrinsik yang membangun cerpen "Asy`amu Tau`amin" dalam antologi cerpen Ahlu al-Hayyi karya Yusuf Zaidan dan keterkaitan antarunsur intrinsik yang ada di dalamnya dalam menghasilkan makna. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural dengan metode analisis struktural. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dianalisis adalah fakta cerita, tema, dan sarana sastra. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa tokoh utama pada cerpen ini adalah Hasan. Tokoh tambahan dalam cerita ini adalah Husain, Jauharah, dan Sumayyah. Alur dalam cerita ini adalah alur campuran. Latar tempat secara umum dalam cerpen ini adalah negara Mesir dan Amerika. Latar tempat secara khusus di Mesir yaitu apartemen dan bandara. Latar tempat secara khusus di Amerika adalah bandara. Latar waktu pada cerpen ini adalah siang dan sore. Tema dalam cerpen ini adalah kebahagiaan hidup seseorang itu tergantung cara pandangnya terhadap apa yang ia dapatkan. Judul "Asy`amu Tau`amin" pada cerpen ini mengacu pada penokohan tokoh utama. Adapun sudut pandang yang digunakan pada cerpen ini adalah sudut pandang orang pertama-utama. Cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan antarunsur yaitu tema dengan tokoh, tema dengan alur, dan judul dengan tokoh. Masing-masing unsur dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan sehingga menghasikan makna cerita yang utuh.

The aim of this study is reveral the intrinsic elements that build the short story "Asy`amu Tau`amin" in the anthology Ahlu al-Hayyi by Yusuf Zaidan and the interrelationships between it's intrinsic elements in producing meaning. The theory used in this research is structural theory with structural analysis methods. The intrinsic elements analyzed story are facts, theme, and literary means. Based on the analysis conducted, it can be seen that the main character in this short story is Hasan. Additional figures in this story are Husain, Jauharah, and Sumayyah. The plot in this story is a mixed plot. The general setting in this short story is Egypt and America. Specific place settings in Egypt are apartment and airport. Specific place settings in America is the airport. The time setting for this short story is afternoon and evening. The theme in this short story is the happiness of one's life depends on how he views what he gets. The title "Asy`amu Tau`amin" in this short story refers to the characterization of the main character. The point of view used in this short story is the first-person perspective. This short story has a link between the elements of the theme with the character, the theme with the plot, and the title with the character. Each element in this short story has a connection so that it produces the meaning of the whole story.
