UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN WARAQATUN MIN GAZATIN DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN ARDU AL-BURTUQALI AL-HAZINI KARYA GASSAN KANAFANI: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen Waraqatun min Gazatin dalam antologi cerpen Ardu al-Burtuqali al-Hazini karya Gassan Kanafani dengan menggunakan teori struktural. Teori struktural adalah teori yang memandang karya sastra sebagai suatu struktur yang terdiri dari beberapa unsur yang saling berkaitan dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor luar (Teeuw, 2013:105). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis struktural. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan unsur-unsur intrinsik dan keterkaitan antarunsur dalam membentuk makna pada cerpen tersebut. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas meliputi, fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter atau tokoh, alur dan latar, tema, serta sarana-sarana sastra yang terdiri atas judul dan sudut pandang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tokoh utama dalam cerpen tersebut adalah Aku, seorang pemuda dari Palestina yang memiliki kepedulian tinggi, rela berkorban, dan bertanggung jawab terhadap keluarga, masyarakat, dan negaranya. Tokoh tambahan dalam cerpen tersebut adalah ibu Aku, istri almarhum saudara laki-laki Aku, dan Nadiya. Cerpen ini menggunakan alur mundur. Latar tempat pada cerpen tersebut adalah rumah Aku, rumah sakit Gaza, jalan-jalan di Gaza, dan Bandara Kairo. Latar waktu pada cerpen tersebut adalah bulan Juni di pagi hari dan sore hari. Tema cerpen tersebut adalah tindakan mempertahankan tanah air yang paling utama adalah tetap tinggal di tanah air dan berjuang membelanya. Tema tersebut diambil dari hasil analisis konflik dalam cerpen tersebut. Sudut pandang yang digunakan dalam cerpen tersebut adalah sudut pandang orang pertama-utama. Unsur-unsur cerpen tersebut memiliki keterkaitan antara satu dengan yang lain, tema dengan tokoh, tema dengan alur, tema dengan latar, tema dengan judul, tema dengan sudut pandang, alur dengan tokoh dan judul dengan tokoh, sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh. This research discusses the intrinsic elements of short story Waraqatun min Gazatin in anthology short story Ardu al-Burtuqali al-Hazini works by Gassan Kanafani using structural theory. Structural theory is theories which view literary works as a structure consisting of several interrelated elements and are not influenced by external factors (Teeuw, 2013:105). The method used in this research is structural analysis method. The purpose of this study is to describe the intrinsict elements and the relationships between elements in forming meaning in the short story. Intrinsic elements discussed include the facts of the story consisting of character or figure, plot and settings, themes, and literary tools consisting of titles and points of view. Thestudy concluded that the main character in the short story was Me. A young man from Palestine who has high concern and willing to sacrifie and was rensponsible for his family, community, and country. Additional figures in the short story are Musá¹­afa, the mother of I, the wife of the deceased I brothers, and Nadiya. This short story uses a flash-back plot. The setting fot the short story are Me house, Gaza hospital, streets in Gaza, and Cairo airport. The setting time of the short story is in June in the morning and evening. The theme in the story is the act of defending the homeland, the main things is to stay in the country and fight for it. The theme was taken from the results of conflict analysis of the short story. Point of view used in the short story is the first-person perspective. These short stories have links between one another, themes with characters, themes with plot, themes with background, themes with titles, themes with points of view, plot with characters, and titles with figures, so that they form a complete meaning.
