RESPONS PEMBACA TERHADAP KITAB AL TASHWIRUL FANNIY FIL QURANI KARYA SAYYID QUTHB KAJIAN RESEPSI EKSPERIMENTAL

Penelitian ini mengungkap respon pembaca reader response dan horison harapan horizon of expectations pembaca terhadap 38 responden terpilih yang terdiri atas kelompok undergraduate, graduate, dan educator. Selain itu, penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui kedudukan objek penelitian di mata pembaca. Objek material dalam penelitian ini adalah kitab al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani karya Sayyid Quthb. Kitab ini cukup fenomenal, yang membuka cakrawala baru dalam pemahaman terhadap tafsir al Quran melalui pendekaan gambaran seni. Ada tiga permasalahan yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini yaitu pertama, bagaimanakah Respon Pembaca terhadap kitab al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani karya Sayyid Quthb. Kedua, bagaimanakah Horison harapan pembaca terhadap kitab al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani. Ketiga, Bagaimana kedudukan atau nilai kitab tersebut di mata pembaca. Kerangka teori yang dimanfaatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Resepsi Sastra lebih khusus reader respon Wolfgang Iser dan Horizon Harapan pembaca oleh Hans Robert Jauss. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian resepsi eksperimental dengan menggunakan kuisioner dan diolah melalui metode statistik dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil olah data kemudian dianalisis dengan metode kuantitatif. Adapun hasil kuisioner yang berisi pertanyaan untuk menggali opini, kritik, saran, dan harapan pembaca dianalisis dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif verbal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, bahwa pembaca dari tiga kategori, yakni undergraduate, graduate, dan educator menerima dengan baik kitab al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani karya Sayyid Quthb. Hal ini nampak pada rata rata penilaian responden sebesar 5, 579 skor 1 samapi 7 pada skala Alan C. Purves. Terdapat 5 kriteria penilaian pembaca berdasarkan kriteria khusus terhadap kitab al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani, yaitu sangat tinggi, tinggi, sedang, rendah, sangat rendah. Adapun kedudukan objek dalam pandangan pembaca yang disimpulkan dari horizon harapan pembaca adalah mayoritas responden menyukai kitab al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani. Mereka menganggap kitab ini penting untuk dibaca dan dipelajari, terlebih bagi mereka yang ingin memperdalam isi al Quran. Pendapat para responden tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh dua hal. Pertama, kitab ini dianggap membawa corak baru dalam penafsiran al Quran, yaitu keindahan seni, dengan bahasa yang mudah dipahami karena menggunakan bahasa resmi atau fushah. Kedua, bahwa pendekatan seni dalam pemahaman al Quran adalah sesuatu yang baru, disukai dan menginspirasi untuk mempelajari uslub al Quran lebih dalam.

This study examines the response of the reader and the horizon of expectations readers of 38 selected respondents consisting of undergraduate, graduate, and educator groups. Besides this research is intended to determine the position of the object of research in the view of the reader. The material object in this study is the book of al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani by Sayyid Quthb. This book can be said to be one of the phenomenal, who opened new horizons in the understanding of the interpretation of the Quran through the approach imaginary of art. There are there problems that are expressed in this research, first, how is the reader response to the book al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani by Sayyid Quthb. Secondly, what is the reader horizon of expectation for the book al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani. Third, what is the position or value of the book in the view of the reader. The formal object used in this study is Literature Reception Theory, more specifically reader response Wolfgang Iser and horizon of expectation readers by Hans Robert Jauss. The method that is used in this research is an experimental reception study using a questionnaire and processed through statiscal methods with the help of the SPSS program. The results of data processing are then analyzed by quantitative methods. While the results of the questionnaire containing questions to explore opinions, criticisms, suggestions and expectations of readers were analyzed using verbal descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study shows that readers from three categories, that are undergraduate, graduate, and educator accept well the book al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani by Sayyid Quthb. This appears on the average rating of respondents amounted to 5.579 scores 1 till 7 on the Alan C. Purves scale. There are 5 criteria for evaluating readers based on specific criteria for the book al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani namely, very high, high, medium, low, and very low. Besides that the positions of the object in the view of the reader which is concluded from the horizon of the reader's expectations is that the majority of respondents favor the kitab al Tashwirul fanniy fil Qurani. They consider this book is important to read and to study, especially for those who wants to deepen the contents of the Quran. The opinion of the respondents is motivated by two things. First, this book is considered to bring a new style in the interpretation of the Quran, namely the beauty of art, with language that is easily understood because it uses the official language or fushah. Secondly, that the approach imaginary of art in understanding the Quran is something new, liked and inspire to study the Qurans language style or uslub more deeply.
