THE INFLUENCE OF SERVANT LEADERSHIP ON PERCEIVED EMPLOYABILITY WITH PROACTIVE CAREER PLANNING BEHAVIOR AS A MEDIATING VARIABLE

2019 | Tesis | Magister ManajemenPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Servant Leadership (SL) terhadap Perceived Employability (PE) dengan Proactive Career Planning Behavior (PCPB) sebagai variabel pemediasi di PT. Transporindo Lima Perkasa (PT. TLP). SL mengacu pada implementasi gaya pemimpinan pada perusahaan. PE mengacu pada persepsi karyawan tentang kemampuan kerja baik didalam maupun diluar perusahaan. Sedangkan, PCPB mengacu pada perilaku karir yang proaktif seorang karyawan terkait dengan perencanaan karir. SL merupakan variabel independent dan PE sebagai variabel dependen. Konsep dan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan melayani, persepsi kemampuan kerja, perilaku perencanaan karir proaktif. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 97 karyawan yang bekerja di PT. TLP, Jakarta Utara, Indonesia. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi berganda oleh Baron dan Kenny (1986). Hasil uji analisis hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa SL berpengaruh pada PE (Beta = 0.297) dan signifikasi (0.016 < 0.05), dengan PCPB memediasi secara penuh diketahui dengan penurunan nilai beta pada SL (Beta= 0.162) dan signifikansi (0.185 > 0.05) pada saat mengontrol variabel PCPB.
This study was conducted to determine the influence of Servant Leadership (SL) on Perceived Employability (PE) with Proactive Career Planning Behavior (PCPB) as a mediating variable in PT. Transporindo Lima Perkasa (PT. TLP). SL refers to the implementation of leadership style in the company. PE refers to the employees perception of their employability in both inside and outside the company. Whereas, PCPB refers to employees proactive career Behavior, namely career planning. SL is an independent variable and PE as the dependent variable. The concepts and theories used in this study are servant leadership, perceived employability, and proactive career planning Behavior. The questionnaire was distributed to 97 employees who worked in PT. TLP, North Jakarta, Indonesia. The hypothesis testing in this study uses multiple regression tests by Baron and Kenny (1986). The results show that SL influence PE (Beta = 0.297) and significance (0.016 < 0.05), with PCPB acts as a full mediation due to a decrease in the value of beta in SL at (Beta = 0.162) and significance (0.185 > 0.05) when controlling PCPB variable.
