IDENTIFIKASI DAN ANALISIS STRATEGI COPING PT JOINHED NUSANTARA FOOD SUPPLY DALAM MERESPONS KEBIJAKAN IMPOR DAGING KERBAU

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif mengenai indentifikasi dan analisis strategi coping PT Joinhed Nusantara Food Supply dalam merespons kebijakan impor daging kerbau. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa strategi coping yang dilakukan perusahaan adalah planful problem solving merubah hal yang dapat bersifat stressor menjadi peluang bisnis. Langkah strategi coping yang dilakukan: 1)Menjadi bagian dari salah satu distributor resmi daging kerbau yang tergabung dalam ADDI (Asosiasi Distributor Daging Indonesia); 2)Mengurangi impor secondary cut daging sapi; 3)Menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas dengan cara melakukan penjualan secara ecer atau retail yang dilakukan oleh unit bisnisnya; 4)Menambah kapasitas dan fasilitas gudang (Cold Storage). Sifat adaptif dan kolaboratif sebagai gambaran karakter organisasional dalam memilih strategi coping perusahaan. Ada dua aspek yang berkembang dalam pemilihan strategi coping perusahaan. 1)Aspek kognitif adalah persepsi positif, kepercayaan diri, harapan, kemampuan untuk bertahan dan beradaptasi; 2)Aspek perilaku mewakili sikap menerima, berkolaborasi dan mengkritik kebijakan pemerintah.

This research is a qualitative study about identification and analysis the coping strategy of PT Joinhed Nusantara Food Supply in response to the import policy of buffalo meat. The result shows that the company's coping strategy was planful problem solving. It changes the problem that cause stressful condition into a business opportunity. The coping strategy steps was taken by company:1)Becoming part of the official buffalo meat distributor which members of the ADDI (Indonesian Meat Distributor Association); 2)Reducing secondary cut items of beef import; 3)Reaching a wider market by making retail sales which carried out by business units; 4)Increasing capacity and facility of cold storage. Adaptive and collaborative as organizational character in choosing actions of the company's coping strategy. There were two aspects which developing in the selection of company's coping strategy. 1)The cognitive aspect consists of positive perceptions, self-confidence, expectations, ability to survive and adapt; 2)The behavioral aspect shows the attitude of accepting, collaborating and criticizing government policies.
