Analisis Produktivitas Pembuatan Kain Grey di PT Primissima Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta

Perkembangan industri tekstil yang semakin strategis mendorong PT Primissima, sebagai salah satu industri tekstil tertua di Indonesia, untuk meningkatkan produktivitas agar dapat bersaing dengan perusahaan tekstil lainnya. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada PT Primissima adalah produksi yang tidak mencapai target sehingga terdapat kesenjangan antara target perusahaan terhadap produksi aktualnya. Produksi yang mencapai target hanya terjadi pada bulan Maret dan Mei 2018. Permasalahan lain yang ditemui adalah persentase idle pada mesin tenun sepanjang tahun 2018 masih melewati target yang diharapkan oleh perusahaan yaitu tidak lebih dari 1% sehingga pencapaian terhadap tujuan perusahaan belum seutuhnya terpenuhi. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengukuran produktivitas. Penelitian diawali dengan observasi langsung ke PT Primissima untuk mengumpulkan data target produksi, produksi aktual, jumlah pembelian bahan baku, jumlah jam kerja aktual mesin tenun, jumlah jam kerja tersedia pada mesin tenun, jumlah tenaga kerja bagian produksi, dan jumlah penggunaan energi listrik di bagian produksi. Berikutnya berdasarkan data tersebut disusun rasio untuk menghitung performansi masing-masing kriteria. Perhitungan nilai produktivitas dibantu dengan matriks Objective Matrix (OMAX) untuk mengevaluasi produktivitas total per bulan dan produktivitas parsial tiap indikator. Permasalahan penyebab penurunan produktivitas diperoleh berdasarkan evaluasi produktivitas parsial tiap indikator. Penyebab permasalahan kemudian dianalisis lebih lanjut menggunakan metode diagram Ishikawa. Nilai produktivitas total tertinggi terjadi pada periode Maret dengan nilai 805,217. Sedangkan nilai produktivitas terendah terjadi pada periode Juni dengan nilai 121,739. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi produktivitas, keseluruhan indikator produktivitas tidak mencapai target yang ditentukan oleh perusahaan. Langkah-langkah perbaikan yang direkomendasikan meliputi penggantian pada palet setiap sebulan sekali sesuai dengan SOP perusahaan, pembersihan palet secara manual oleh operator dari sisa benang yang masih tergulung pada palet, perlunya pengawasan kerja yang baik oleh tim auditor, pembuatan peraturan mengenai tata cara pemindahan kemasan karung berisi bahan baku benang dengan benar, dan meninjau kembali pemilihan pemasok bahan baku benang.

To compete with other companies in the textile industry PT Primissima, one of the oldest textile industries in Indonesia, should increase productivity. The problem that occurs at PT Primissima is that production does not reach the target, so there is a gap between the company's target and its actual production. The production that reaches the target only occurs in March and May 2018. Another problem encountered is the percentage of idle in weaving machines throughout 2018 still exceeding the target expected by the company which is no more than 1% so that the achievement of the company's goals has not been fully met. Therefore, it is necessary to measure productivity. The study starts with the observation of PT Primissima to collect the data of production target, actual production, the number of raw material purchases, total actual weaving machine-hours, total possible weaving machine-hours, total labor in production section, and total consumption of electricity in production section. Based on the data, the ratios are compiled to calculate the performance of each criterion. The calculation of productivity value is supported by Objective Matrix (OMAX) to evaluate the total productivity in each month and the partial productivity of each indicator. The decrease in productivity caused by the problem is obtained by partial productivity of each indicator. Then the problem is analyzed by the Ishikawa Diagram. The highest total productivity value occurred in March with a score of 805,217. While the lowest total productivity value occurred in June with a score of 121,739. Based on the result of evaluation productivity, all of the indicator productivity is not reach the target determined by the company. Moreover, to improve the productivity, there are some recommendation can be applied such as replacement to the pallets once a month by following the company SOP, cleaning the pallets manually by the operator from the remaining yarn that is still curled on the pallets, the need for good work supervision by the auditor team, making regulations regarding the procedures for moving the sack packaging containing yarn raw materials correctly, and review the selection of suppliers of yarn raw materials.
