Tugas akhir ini menjelaskan tentang Pengolahan Arsip Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Wonogiri. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini ialah untuk mengetahui Pengolahan Arsip KPU KabupatenWonogiri di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Dilakukan pengolahan arsip agar dapat mengurangi volume arsip, mempermudahkan proses temu kembali, efisiensi waktu, biaya serta tenaga pegawai di instasi pemerintah tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data diakukan mealui tiga cara. Pertama, observasi partisipan yaitu dengan ikut terlibat secara langsung di lapangan serta mengamati proses yang dikerjakan untuk mendapatkan data yang kongkretsebagai bahan untuk menulis laporan Tugas Akhir. Metode yang ke dua adalah wawancara dengan narasumber yang berkompeten dalam pengolahan arsip. Metode wawancara dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi lebih tentang pengolahan arsip yang dilakukan di instasi pemerintah tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data yang terakhir ialah studi pustka, metode ini dilakukan dengan mengutip materi didalamnya berupa konsep, pemikiran, dan pembahasan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pengolahan arsip KPU Kabupaten Wonogiri sudah dilaksankan cukup baik sesuai dengan pedoman yang berlaku. Tahapan kegiatan pengolahan arsip meliputi pemindahan arsip, pemilahan arsip, mencatat data, penomoran berkas, input data, penomoran definitif, manuver arsip, pelablean boks arsip, dan daftar arsip. Sarana dan prasarana yang tersediasudah cukup baik untuk menunjang proses pengolahan arsip. Meskipun begitupenulis masih menemukan kendala dalam proses pengolahan arsip, yaitu sedikitnya SDM dalam pengolahan, serta listrik yang sering padam pada saat proses pengolahan.

This final project explains the Archives Arragement of KPU (General Election Commission) Regency Wonogiri. The purpose is to find out the Archive Arragement of KPU Regency Wonigiri in Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Archives Arragement is carried out in order to reduce the volume of records, simplify the process of retrieval, time efficiency, costs and personnel in the government institution. Data collection methods are demonstated in three ways. First, participant observation directly involved in the field and observed the process undertaken to obtain concrete data as materials to writethe Final Project report. The second method is interviewing competent sources in archive arragement. The interview method was conducted aiming to get more information about the records process carried out at the government institution. The last data collection method is literature study. This method is done by citing the material in the form of concepts, thoughts, and discussions. The results of this study indicate that the archive arragement of Wonogiri Regency activities have been carried out quite well in accordance with applicable guidelines. Stages ofarchival process include the transfer of records, sorting records, recording data, numbering files, inputting data, definitive numbering, maneuvering records, archiving box storage, and list of records. The available facilities and infrastructure are good enough to support the processing of records. Nevertheless, the authors still foundobstacles in the processing of record due to lack of human resources in processing, as well as electricity that often goes out during processing.
