Penulisan Laporan Tugas Akhir ini merupakan hasil pengumpulan informasi dari praktik kerja lapangan yang dilakukan di Bidang Keselamatan dan Teknologi Transportasi Dinas Perhubungan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah membahas tentang kondisi arsip dinamis inaktif, pengolahan arsip dinamis inaktif dan kendala yang dihadapi. Penulisan Tugas Akhir menggunakan tiga metode yaitu studi pustaka dengan cara mengutip teori-teori yang diperoleh dari literatur. Kedua yaitu observasi partisipasi dengan cara berpatisipasi secara langsung dilapangan. Terakhir yaitu, metode wawancara dengan cara tanya jawab kepada narasumber. Kondisi arsip dinamis inaktif yang diolah di Bidang Keselamatan dan Teknologi Transportasi Dinas Perhubungan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dalam keadaan tidak teratur. Pengolahan arsip dinamis inaktif di Bidang Keselamatan dan Teknologi Transportasi dimulai dari pemilahan arsip, pendeskripsian arsip dan penomoran definitif, pembungkusan arsip, penataan arsip kedalam boks, pelabelan dan penomoran boks arsip, penataan boks arsip kedalam rak arsip dan pembuatan daftar arsip dinamis inaktif. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengolahan arsip dinamis inaktif adalah standar operasional prosedur belum berjalan dengan baik, jumlah sumberdaya manusia dan kurangnya sarana dan prasarana.

The writing of this Final paper is the result of gathering information from the practice field work carried out in Bidang Keselamatan dan Teknologi Transportasi Dinas Perhubungan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The purpose of this final paper is to discuss the conditions of inactive records, inactive record processing and obstacles encountered. Writting final paper uses three methods, namely literature study by citing theories obtained from the literature. Second is observation of participation by directly participating in the field. Finally, namely the interview method by ask questions to the speakers. The condition of inactive records in Bidang Keselamatan dan Teknologi Transportasi Dinas Perhubungan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in an irregular state. Processing inactive records in Bidang Keselamatan dan Teknologi Transportasi sorting records, records description and definitive numbering, wrapping records, managing the records in boxes, labeling and numbering of records boxes, arrangement of records boxes in the records shelf and the preparation of the list inactive records. The obtacles faced in the processing of inactive records are the standard operating procedure have not run well, the amount of human resources and the lack of facilities and infrastructure.
