Peningkatan Daya Saing Dan Produktivitas Proses Produksi Menggunakan Metode Monozukuri Innovation Activity

Persaingan dunia industri yang semakin ketat dan semakin pesat dalam perkembangan teknologi mendasari PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia terus berinovasi dan menjawab semua tantangan untuk menjaga produk dan pemasarannya tetap bersaingan dan menjadi nomer satu di Indonesia. Salah satu inovasinya adalah Monozukuri Innovation Activity dimana konsep tersebut merupakan sebuah inovasi dalam proses pembuatan sebuah produk yang menekankan untuk melakukan perbaikan, baik dari segi efisiensi dan produktivitas demi menghasilkan produk yang baik dan berpengaruh terhadap harga akhir sebuah produk. Monozukuri Innovation Activity dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi proses-proses pada line blow molding and cutting spoiler 550A dan 560A, proses identifikasi dilakukan dengan cara genba (observasi) lapangan dan memperhatikan faktor dari plan layout, cycle time, dan man power. Dimana hasil dari observasi ditemukan masih banyak waktu tunggu seperti, man power menunggu mesin dan mesin menunggu man power yang terjadi dalam proses produksi. Hasil dari perbaikan metode Monozukuri Innovation Activity yang dilakukan terhadap line blow molding and cutting spoiler 550A dan 560A dapat menghilangkan waktu tunggu yang terjadi dengan re-layout dan reduce man power, sehingga produktivitas meningkat dari 162% menjadi 216% atau meningkat sebesar 54%, dan menghasilkan cost reduction terhadap harga akhir part tersebut sebesar Rp. 923/part sebagai salah satu peningkatan daya saing terhadap harga produk.

The increasingly fierce competition in the industrial world and the rapid development of technology underpins PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia to continue to innovate and answer all challenges to keep its products and marketing competitive and number one in Indonesia. One of the innovations is Monozukuri Innovation Activity where the concept is an innovation in the process of making a product that emphasizes improvements, both in terms of efficiency and productivity to produce good products and affect the final price of a product. Monozukuri Innovation Activity is carried out by identifying processes in the 550A and 560A spoiler blow molding and cutting spoiler lines, the identification process is carried out by field observations and taking into account the factors of plan layout, cycle time, and man power. Where the results of observations are found there is still a lot of waiting time such as, man power waits for the engine and the machine waits for man power that occurs in the production process. The results of the improvement of the Monozukuri Innovation Activity method carried out on the 550A and 560A spoiler blow molding and cutting spoiler lines can eliminate the waiting time that occurs with re-layout and reduce man power, so productivity increases from 162% to 216% or increases by 54%, and resulting in a cost reduction to the final part price of Rp. 923/part as one of the increased competitiveness of product prices.
