PENGARUH ADOPSI XBRL TERHADAP COST OF DEBT PADA PERUSAHAAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI INDEKS KOMPAS 100 BEI PERIODE 2012-2017

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh adopsi XBRL terhadap Cost of Debt pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Indeks Kompas 100 BEI Periode 2012-2017. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang didapatkan dari laporan keuangan dan pusat data Thompson Reuters FEB UGM. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 288 yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan regresi linear data panel untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan proksi COD (proporsi interest expense atas total debt) untuk memproksikan cost of debt. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adopsi XBRL tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap cost of debt perusahaan di Indeks Kompas 100 BEI Periode 2012-2017.

This study aims to prove the effect of XBRL adoption on the cost of debt in companies listed on the Kompas 100 Index of Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2012-2017. The data used are secondary data obtained from financial statements and data center Thompson Reuters FEB UGM. The number of samples in this study were 288 and selected using purposive sampling method. The analysis method used in this study were linear regression of panel data. This study used COD (proportion of interest expense over total debt) to proxy the cost of debt. The result showed that the adoption of XBRL did not have a significant effect on the company’s cost of debt on the Kompas 100 Index of Indonesia Stock Exchange for the periode of 2012-2017.
