ANALISIS FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP KONSUMSI SUSU BUBUK DAN TELUR AYAM RAS PADA RUMAH TANGGA DOSEN UGM YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat konsumsi susu dan telur pada rumah tangga Dosen UGM Yogyakarta dan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi susu bubuk dan telur ayam ras. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Nopember 2001 sampai April 2002 dengan materi penelitian adalah rumah tangga Dosen UGM Yogyakarta sebanyak 50 responden. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei. Model analisa yang digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsumsi susu bubuk dan telur ayam ras adalah fungsi linear dalam logaritma (double logarithmic function), dimana koefisien regresi secara langsung merupakan koefisien elastisitas dari masing-masing variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan setiap bulan rumah tangga Dosen UGM mengkonsumsi susu dan telur sebanyak 3,32 kg dan 8,58 kg. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama faktor-faktor yang diamati berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap konsumsi susu bubuk dan konsumsi telur ayam ras ( P<0,05) dengan nilai F hitung masing-masing sebesar 3,259 dan 3,290. Berdasarkan uji t maka yang berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi susu bubuk adalah pendapatan, harga susu kental,harga susu bubuk, jumlah keluarga,jarak, dan tingkat pendidikan, sedangkan yang berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi telur ayam ras adalah pendapatan,harga telur ayam ras, harga telur ayam kampung, dan harga daging broiler. The study was conducted to evaluate the level of milk and egg consumption on the lecturer household of GMU. It was also to know the factors that influenced the consumption of milk powder and egg of non native chicken. This research was done on Nopember 2001 until April 2002. Fifty lecturer household of GMU were used as respondents. The metode of this study was survey. Double logarithmic function was applied to estimate the elasticity of factors that influenced the consumption of milk powder and egg of non native chicken. The result showed that the consumption of milk and egg by the lecturer household were 3,32 kg and 8,58 kg per month respectively. Independent variables as a whole in the regression function was significantly influenced the consumption of milk and egg (P<0,05). Variables that influenced the consumption of milk powder were income of the household, the price of sweet condensed milk, the price of powder milk, household family member, distance to the seller, and level of education, while the variables that influenced the consumption of egg were income of the household, the price of egg non native chicken, the price of egg native chicken and the price of broiler meat.
