Berdasarkan Undang-undang Republik Indonesia nomor 13 tahun 2011 tentang penangan fakir miskin bab 1 pasal 1 ayat 2 bahwa penanganan fakir miskin adalah upaya yang terarah, terpadu, dan berkelanjutan yang dilakukan pemerintah, pemerintah daerah, atau masyarakat dalam bentuk kebijakan, program dan kegiatan pemberdayaan, pendampingan, serta fasilitasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar setiap warga negara. Lembaga Daya Dharma memiliki komitmen untuk melakukan pelayanan kepada masyarakat miskin dengan tujuan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Salah satu program yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga Daya Dharma Jakarta adalah program Koperasi Misi Saudara Makmur. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa konsep, seperti konsep pelayanan sosial, konsep partisipasi, dan konsep kesejahteraan. Ketiga konsep tesebut saling berkaitan sehingga dapat digunakan dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini membahas tentang strategi yang dilakukan Lembaga Daya Dharma dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan khususnya pada program Koperasi Misi Saudara Makmur. Sehigga dengan menggunakan tiga konsep tersebut peneliti dapat melihat proses pengelolahan program sampai dengan implikasi program tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, serta melihat data skunder sebagai data pendukung. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti berusaha melihat bagaimana proses serta alur program koperasi mulai dari tahap perencanaan hingga tahap evaluasi. Kemudian melihat permasalah-permasalahan yang muncul dalam setiap proses tersebut dan dampaknya terkait peningkatan kesejahteraan penerima program. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah program koperasi Misi Saudara Makmur memberikan peningkatan kualitas hidup seperti kemampuan mengatur keuangan, memenuhi kebutuhan tidak terduga, dan tidak lagi berhutang kepada renternir. Namun dalam proses perencannan tidak melibatkan masyarakat sekitar sehingga terjadinya ketidaksesuaian antara latar belakang program dengan kondisi yang ada dilapangan. Temuan selanjutnya partisipasi para anggota dalam program koperasi Misi Saudara Makmur lebih bersifat pasif terkait kegiatan pelatihan yang ada. Kedua hal tersebut membuat belum terjadinya peningkatan kemandirian para anggota koperasi.

Based on the Republic of Indonesia Law number 13 of 2011 concerning the poor handlers of chapter 1 article 1 paragraph 2 that the handling of the poor is directed, integrated, and sustainable efforts carried out by the government, regional government, or society in the form of empowerment policies, programs and activities , assistance, and facilitation to meet the basic needs of every citizen. Daya Dharma Institute is committed to providing services to the poor with the aim of improving community welfare. One of the programs carried out by the Daya Dharma Jakarta Institute is the program of the Prosperous Mission Cooperative. This research uses several concepts, such as the concept of social services, the concept of participation, and the concept of welfare. The three concepts are interrelated so that they can be used in research. This study discusses the strategies carried out by the Dharma Institute in improving welfare, especially in the program of the Prosperous Mission Cooperative. Sehigga by using these three concepts researchers can see the process of managing the program up to the implications of the program. This study uses a Qualitative Method with descriptive analysis. This data collection technique uses in-depth interviews, observations, and viewing secondary data as supporting data. In this study the researcher tried to see how the process and the flow of the cooperative program began from the planning stage to the evaluation stage. Then look at the problems that arise in each of these processes and their impacts related to improving the welfare of program recipients. The findings of this study are the program of the Brother Makmur Cooperative program providing improved quality of life such as the ability to manage finances, meet unexpected needs, and no longer owe money to moneylenders. However, in the planning process it does not involve the surrounding community so that there is a discrepancy between the background of the program and the conditions in the field. Subsequent findings of the participation of members in the Brother Mausoleum cooperative program were more passive regarding the existing training activities. Both of these make it not yet an increase in the independence of the members of the cooperative.
