Rekonstruksi Narasi Komunis dalam Film Surat dari Praha

Penelitian ini fokus mengkaji bentuk kekuasaan yang dilakukan oleh Orde Baru terhadap mahasiswa eksil pasca meletusnya peristiwa 1965. Penelitian ini menggunakan film berjudul Surat dari Praha oleh Angga Dwimas Sasongko sebagai media dalam mengkaji hal tersebut. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kekuasaan dan resistensi oleh Michel Foucault dan teori Hegemoni oleh Antonio Gramsci. Kedua perspektif tersebut digunakan dalam menganalisa bentuk kekuasaan Orde Baru terhadap mahasiswa eksil pasca peristiwa 1965. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisa wacana dengan menganalisa bentuk-bentuk wacana yang dibangun oleh Orde Baru melalui percakapan-percakapan penting di dalam film Surat dari Praha. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Orde Baru berusaha melanggengkan stigma komunis terhadap mahasiswa eksil yang menolak mengakui rezimnya. Pada kenyataannya tuduhan sebagai komunis terhadap mahasiswa eksil oleh Orde Baru tidaklah sepenuhnya benar. Mahasiswa eksil yang menolak Orde Baru diceritakan lebih banyak tidak ingin mengutuk rezim Soekarno dan menamakan mereka sebagai para Soekarnois.

This study focuses on examining the form of power exercised by the New Order against exile students after the outbreak of the 1965 incident. This study uses a film titled Surat dari Praha (Letter from Prague) by Angga Dwimas Sasongko as a media in reviewing the matter. The theory used is the theory of power and resistance by Michel Foucault and the theory of Hegemony by Antonio Gramsci. These two perspectives are used in analyzing the form of New Order power towards exile students after the events of 1965. The method used is discourse analysis by analyzing the forms of discourse built by the New Order through important conversations in the film Surat dari Praha. The results of this study indicate that the New Order tried to perpetuate the communist stigma against exile students who refused to legitimate the regime. In fact the accusation of being a communist towards exile students by the New Order was not entirely true. Exile students who rejected the New Order were told more that they did not want to condemn the Soekarno regime and they named them as Sukarnoists.
