UNSUR-UNSUR DEONTOLOGIS IMMANUEL KANT DALAM PUTUSAN TINDAKAN PEMERAN UTAMA JAYA PADA FILM SURAT DARI PRAHA

Film Surat dari Praha terinspirasi dari kisah nyata yakni tentang para eksil Praha yang menjadi saksi hidup dalam tragedi politik Indonesia di tahun 1965. Film ini mengangkat persoalan moral mengenai putusan tindakan seseorang yang darinya terefleksikan bentuk moralitas di dalamnya. Isi film tersebut terkait ide tentang: kebebasan, kebaikan, dan kewajiban. Ide tersebut menjadi unsur penting dalam rumusan etika Kant yang berisi imperatif kategoris dan bersifat deontologis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui makna dari film, menguraikan persoalan moral yang terdapat dalam kisah film, dan mengetahui tinjauan etika deontologi Kant terhadap putusan tindakan tokoh Jaya dalam film Surat dari Praha. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Kategorisasi dan reduksi bahan dilakukan kemudian hasilnya dideskripsikan untuk dianalisis menggunakan konsep yang diperoleh dari sumber kepustakaan. Tahap selanjutnya adalah interpretasi untuk diambil suatu kesimpulan. Objek material penelitian ini adalah putusan tindakan pemeran utama Jaya dalam film Surat dari Praha. Objek formalnya adalah etika deontologi Immanuel Kant. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) tindakan Jaya mencerminkan tindakan atas dasar menaati perasaan batin (2) persoalan moral ada pada keputusan yang begitu saja dipilih, namun seakan memperlihatkan pertimbangkan dan tujuan (3) Tindakan Jaya memenuhi deontologi Kant di dalam unsurnya, bahwa Jaya bersetia pada hukum moral dirinya, namun mengorbankan aturan moral pada orang lain.

Surat dari Praha's movie was inspired by the true stories of Prague exiles who were living witnesses in the 1965 Indonesian political tragedy. This movie raises a moral issue regarding the actions decision from the main character, which is reflects the form of morality in it. The contents of the movie are related to ideas about: freedom, kindness, and obligation. The idea became an important element in Kant's ethical formulation which contained categorical imperatives and was deontological. The purpose of this study was to find out the meaning of the movie, describe the moral issues contained in the story of the movie, and analyze the moral issues of Jaya's actions decision from the movie based on Kant's deontology. This study used a qualitative research with descriptive-analytical methods. Material categorization and reduction were carried out then the results were described to be analyzed using concepts obtained from the literature sources. The next stage is the interpretation to take a conclusion. The material object of this study is the verdict of the main actor Jaya's action within Surat dari Praha's movie. The formal object in this study is the ethics of Immanuel Kant's deontology. The results of this study are: (1) Jaya's actions reflect actions on the basis of obeying inner feelings (2) moral problems are in decisions that are simply chosen, but as if showing consideration and purpose (3) Jaya's actions fulfill Kant's deontology in his element, that Jaya is loyal to his moral law, but sacrifices moral rules in others.
