Urutan Tutur Ungkapan Penolakan dan Faktor yang Melatarbelakanginya dalam Drama Berjudul "Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu"

Ungkapan penolakan dalam bahasa Jepang terdiri dari berbagai macam bentuk, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung. Ungkapan-ungkapan penolakan tersebut terdiri dari berbagai macam urutan tutur. Urutan tutur adalah urutan formula semantik yang tersusun menjadi sebuah ungkapan penolakan. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bentuk-bentuk urutan tutur ungkapan penolakan dan faktor eksternal bahasa yang melatarbelakanginya yaitu suasana tuturan, beban psikologis penolak, dan status partisipannya. Data diambil dari drama berjudul "Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu" yang tayang di Jepang pada tanggal 15 Oktober 2014 sampai 17 Desember 2014 pada saluran NTV sejumlah 10 episode, setiap episodenya berdurasi sekitar 50 menit. Drama ini bercerita mengenai kehidupan cinta seorang perempuan pegawai perusahaan yang berumur 30 tahun dengan kekasihnya yaitu seorang mahasiswa berumur 21 tahun yang magang sebagai pegawai paruh waktu di perusahaan tersebut. Data yang sudah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan urutan tuturnya. Selanjutnya data dianalisis berdasarkan teori SPEAKING oleh Dell Hymes, kemudian diberikan penjelasan tambahan mengenai situasi, beban psikologis penolakan, dan status antar partisipannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam drama "Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu" terdapat 13 macam urutan tutur ungkapan penolakan yang secara kesuluruhan terdiri atas 11 jenis formula semantik sebagai kompononen penyusun urutan tutur tersebut. Formula semantik tersebut adalah kata ataupun kalimat yang terkandung dalam urutan tutur ungkapan penolakan, yaitu nonperformatif, alasan, alternatif, penghindaran verbal, performatif, permintaan maaf, penghilangan beban, penghentian permintaan, pertahanan diri, kritik, dan terima kasih. Sedangkan faktor yang melatarbelakanginya adalah situasi formal dan tidak formal, beban psikologis penolakan yang berat dan tidak berat, serta status antar partisipan yaitu lebih rendah, sama, dan lebih tinggi.

Refusal expression in Japanese has various forms, they are direct and indirect. The refusal expression consists of many kinds of speech order. Speech order is a typical order of semantic formulas arranged into a refusal. This study explains the forms of speech order refusal and the external factors of language that become the background of someone to do the refusal. Whereas, the external factors can be clacificated as the scene of speech, the psychological burden, and the status of participants. Data were taken from a drama entitled "Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu" which aired in Japan on October 15, 2014 to December 17, 2014 on the NTV channel with 10 episodes, each with a duration of about 50 minutes. The drama tells the story of the love life of a 30-year-old female employee with her lover, a 21-year-old student who is apprenticed as a part-time employee at the company. The data that has been collected then analyzed based on the speech order. Then the data is analyzed based on the SPEAKING theory by Dell Hymes, then given an additional explanation about the scene, the psychological burden, and the status of the participants. The results of this study indicate that in the drama "Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu"there are 13 kinds of speech order expressions of refusals which in total there are 11 types of semantic formulas as components of that speech order. The semantic formulas is a word or sentence contained in the speech order refusal. They are nonperformative, reason, alternative, avoidance verbal, performative, statement of regret, let interlocutor off the hook, dissuade the request, self-defense, criticize, and gratitude. Whereas the underlying factors are the formal and informal scene, the psychological burden of severe and not severe refusal, and the status of participants which are lower, equal, and higher.
