KAJIAN MODA TRANSPORTASI ANGKOT MODERN BERBASIS TIK DI KOTA BOGOR

Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dalam bidang transportasi memiliki peran penting dalam memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Kota Bogor merupakan salah satu kota yang pernah mengembangkan moda transportasi umum dengan pemanfaatan TIK untuk meningkatkan pelayanan masyarakat yaitu angkot modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami berbagai moda transportasi umum di Kota Bogor, pengoperasian angkot modern di Kota Bogor, dan kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap angkot modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data primer yang diperoleh merupakan hasil indepth interview dengan beberapa pihak yang terkait. Sementara itu, data sekunder diperoleh berupa dokumen resmi dari pihak pemerintah, publikasi penelitian, surat kabar, artikel di internet dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa angkot konvensional dan Bus Trans Pakuan mengalami penurunan kualitas dan minat masyarakat. Angkot modern hadir dengan fasilitas TIK sebagai inovasi dalam upaya mengatasi permasalahan transportasi tersebut dan kemacetan lalu lintas melalui program re- routing. Angkot modern belum sempat beroperasi sepenuhnya, tetapi saat tahap percobaan justru menimbulkan penolakkan dari beberapa pihak, sehingga saat ini berhenti beroperasi dan belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan moda transportasi umum yang diharapkan masyarakat Kota Bogor.

The utilization of information and communication technology (ICT) in the field of transportation has an important role in facilitating the needs of society. Bogor City is one of the cities that had developed a mode of public transportation with the use of ICT to improve the community service namely angkot modern. This research aims to understand the various modes of public transportation in Bogor City, the operation of angkot modern in Bogor City, and the needs of people using angkot modern The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Primary data obtained from the result of an indepth interview with some related parties. Meanwhile, secondary data obtained in the form of official documents from the government, research publications, newspapers, articles on the internet and literature study. The results showed that conventional angkot and Trans Pakuan experienced a decline in the quality and interest of the community. Angkot modern has ICT facilities as an innovation to overcome those problems of transportation and traffic congestion through the re-routing program. Angkot modern had not been fully operational, but in the trial, a stage is causing the rejection of some parties, so that it is currently stopped operating and not yet fully meet the demands of public transport mode that the community Bogor City expects.
