UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN WAJAI HUWA AL-MAKANU DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN AKHAFU AN YUDRIKANI AS-SABAHU KARYA ADNAN KANAFANI ANALISIS STRUKTURAL

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen Waja'i Huwa al-Makanu dalam antologi cerpen Akhafu an-Yudrikani as-Sabahu karya Adnan Kanafani dengan menggunakan teori struktural. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keterkaitan antara satu unsur dengan unsur lainnya, dalam menghasilkan makna secara utuh. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas meliputi, tema, fakta cerita dengan alur, latar dan tokoh serta penokohan, sarana sastra dengan judul, sudut pandang dan ironi serta keterkaitan antar unsur, sesuai dengan teori struktural. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tema dari cerpen ini adalah ketabahan dan keteguhan dibutuhkan seseorang ketika menghadapi cobaan. Tema tersebut diambil dari hasil analisis konflik dalam cerpen. Tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah Aku karena selalu muncul dari awal cerita hingga akhir, sedangkan tokoh tambahannya adalah Kamu, Ibu, Ayah, dan orang-orang. Alur cerpen dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan. Tahapan pertama merupakan tahap awal yang menceritakan tokoh Aku ketika mengenang mihrab dan masa lalunya bersama adiknya. Tahapan kedua sebagai tahapan tengah diisi dengan konflik yang terjadi pada Aku berupa pengusiran dan rasa sakit yang diderita oleh Aku dan Kamu. Klimaks terjadi pada saat Aku sadar ia akan diusir dari mihrab. Tahap terakhir berupa tahap penyelesaian menggambarkan tentang tokoh Aku yang tidak tahu di mana adiknya berada sebagai akhir cerita. Latar waktu tidak disebutkan secara eksplisit, hanya diketahui pada waktu pagi dan malam hari sedangkan untuk latar tempat yakni, mihrab, rumah sakit, sekolah, dan jalanan. Cerpen ini mempunyai keterkaitan antarunsur satu dengan yang lainnya sehingga cerpen tersebut dapat membentuk satu kesatuan yang utuh.

The study discusses about the intrinsics elements of the short story Waja'i Huwa al-Makanu in the anthology of short stories Akhafu an Yudrikani as-Sabahu by Adnan Kanafani, using structural theory. The aims of this research is to describe the relationship among the elements inside to generate a complete meaning entirety. The intrinsic elements those are discussed namely, theme, story fact including characterization, plot, background time and place, tittle, point of view, irony then all of the elements analyzed using the structural analysis. The results of this study concluded that the theme of this short story was "patience and determination are needed by someone who facing any obstacle". That theme is taken from the results of conflict analysis in the short story. 'Aku' is the main character in this short story because it always appears from the beginning to the end of the story. The additional characters are 'You', mother, father, and People. There are three stages of the short story's plot. The first stage is the initial stage that tells the character 'Aku' who remembering her past about her brother and their mihrab. The second stage is the middle stage filled with conflicts that occur in when 'Aku' and 'Kamu' suffered because they were expelled by the people around. The climax is when 'Aku' realize that she will be outcasted from her own mihrab. The final stage is the form of completion stage, it shows the character of 'Aku' who does not know where her younger brother is until the end of the story. The time frame is not explicitly stated, they are only known as a morning and an evening. The background scene shows in mihrab, hospital, school, and the streets. All the elements of this short story are connected to each other so that the short story can build a unified short story.
