GAMBARAN KEPUASAN PERAWAT DAN DOKTER TERHADAP IMPLEMENTASI ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD DI RSA UGM

Latar belakang : Rekam kesehatan elektronik atau electronic health record (EHR) memiliki banyak kelebihan dibandingkan dengan rekam medis yang menggunakan kertas. Hal ini menyebabkan rekam medis kertas mulai ditinggalkan dan rumah sakit mulai menggunakan EHR. Evaluasi terkait dengan penggunaan EHR merupakan hal penting yang harus dilakukan secara tepat waktu. Salah satu evaluasi penggunaan EHR adalah dengan melihat gambaran kepuasan pengguna EHR. Tujuan penelitian : Mengetahui gambaran kepuasan perawat dan dokter terhadap implementasi EHR di RSA UGM. Metode : Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Responden berjumlah 27 dokter dan 25 perawat yang bekerja di unit pelayanan rawat jalan RSA UGM. Data diambil menggunakan instrumen Electronic Health Record Nurse Satisfaction (EHRNS) yang dikembangkan Sockolow et al. (2011). Hasil : Peran EHR dalam hasil perawatan pasien mendapatkan nilai M = 3,9; SD = 0,7 pada responden perawat dan M = 4,1; SD = 0,8 pada responden dokter. Pengaruh penggunaan EHR terhadap kenyamanan pasien mendapatkan nilai M = 3,8; SD = 0,5 pada perawat dan M = 3,7; SD = 0,8 pada dokter. Pelatihan mendapatkan nilai M = 4,6; SD = 0,6 pada perawat dan M = 4,3; SD = 0,7 pada responden dokter. Tidak ditemukan perbedaan kepuasan di antara perawat dan dokter di RSA UGM. Kesimpulan : Secara keseluruhan, perawat dan dokter di RSA UGM merasa puas dengan beberapa item pada fungsi EHR yang digunakan. Meskipun begitu, masih terdapat juga beberapa item yang kurang memuaskan dan perlu diperbaiki, misalnya pada pelatihan.

Background : Electronic health record (EHR) system has many advantages compared to the paper health record. This causes hospital around the world changes the patient documentation, from paper based health record to EHR system. Evaluation about EHR system implementation is a crucial things. Evaluation about the EHR implementation can be done by measuring EHR user satisfaction. Objective : To determine physicians and nurses satisfaction in EHR implementation. Method : This was a cross-sectional designed descriptive analytical research. The participants were 27 doctors and 25 nurses who work in outpatient UGM hospital. Data were collected using Electronic Health Record Nurse Satisfaction (EHRNS) by Sockolow et al. (2011). Result : The effect of EHR in patient outcomes is equivalent to M = 3.9; SD = 0.7 in nurses and M = 4.1; SD = 0.8 in doctors. The effect of EHR usage on the patient’s comfort is eqivalent to M = 3.8; SD = 0.5 in nurses and M = 3.7; SD = 0.8 in doctors. EHR training is equivalent to M = 4.6; SD = 0.6 in nurses and M = 4.3; SD = 0.7 in doctors. There is no significance difference in satisfaction between nurses and doctors. Conclusion : Overall, nurses and doctors were satisfied with some functions in EHR system. However, there is some functions that didn’t satisfy the users and need to be improve.
