PARIWISATA BERKELANJUTAN DALAM PENGELOLAAN DESTINASI DESA WISATA SESAOT, KABUPATEN LOMBOK BARAT

Desa Wisata Sesaot merupakan salah satu desa wisata di Kabupaten Lombok Barat yang mendapatkan pengakuan sebagai salah satu Pilot Project daerah pengamatan pariwisata berkelanjutan atau Sustainable Tourism Development (STD), sehingga sangat penting untuk memperhatikan keberlanjutannya baik dari aspek lingkungan, sosial-budaya, maupun ekonomi. Perkembangan pariwisata yang pesat memang berdampak positif terutama bagi ekonomi masyarakat, namun disisi lain dapat berdampak buruk jika pengelolaannya tidak mengedepankan prinsip-prinsip pariwisata berkelanjutan. Jenis wisata yang dapat terkena dampaknya adalah wisata yang mengandalkan alam sebagai daya tarik utamanya, Desa Wisata Sesaot salah satunya. Desa Wisata Sesaot mengalami perkembangan yang pesat dari tahun ke tahun namun belum pernah diteliti. Apakah pengelolaanya sudah sesuai dengan prinsip keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan kepentingan masing-masing stakeholder dalam pengelolaan destinasi wisata dalam pembangunan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Desa Wisata Sesaot, mengevaluasi kesesuaian pengelolaan destinasi Desa Wisata Sesaot dengan prinsip pembangunan pariwisata berkelanjutan yang mengacu pada indikator UNWTO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 14 stakeholder yang berperan dalam pengelolaan desa wisata, memiliki kepentingan dan pengaruh yang berbeda-beda. Hubungan yang terjalin antar stakeholder masih terbatas pada koordinasi dan kamunikasi saja, belum banyak kerjasama antar stakeholder dalam pengelolaan desa wisata. Banyak hal yang perlu di tingkatkan untuk menyesuaikan indikator pariwisata berkelanjutan. Berdasarkan analisis dengan indikator UNWTO maka pengelolaan Desa Wisata Sesaot dari aspek lingkungan dan sosial-budaya yang diteliti sejauh ini dilaksanakan hampir sebagian besar sudah cukup baik dan dari aspek ekonomi yang diteliti sudah sesuai dengan indikator pariwisata berkelanjutan UNWTO. Hanya saja ada beberapa variabel yang perlu ditingkatkan untuk menyesuaikan indikator pariwisata berkelanjutan.

Sesaot Tourism Village is one of the tourism villages in West Lombok Regency that has gained recognition as one of the pilot projects for observing sustainable tourism (STD), hence it is very important to put attention to its sustainability either from the environmental, socio-cultural and economic aspects . The rapid development of tourism does have a positive impact especially on the economy of the community, but on the other hand there also has negative impact if the management does not prioritize the principles of sustainable tourism. The type of tourism that can be affected is tourism that relies on nature as its main attraction, Sesaot Tourism Village is the example. Sesaot Tourism Village has experienced rapid development from year to year but has never been researhed. Whether the management is already accordance to the principle of sustainability. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with the aim to knowing the influence and interests of each stakeholder in managing tourist destinations in sustainable tourism development in Sesaot Tourism Village, evaluating the compatability of Sesaot Tourism Village destination management with the principle of sustainable tourism development which refers to UNWTO indicators. The results shows that there are 14 stakeholders who play a role in managing tourism villages, which having different interests and influences. The relationship between stakeholders is still limited due to coordination and communication only, there is not much collaboration between stakeholders in the management of tourist villages. Many things need to be improved to adjust the indicators of sustainable tourism. Based on the analysis with the UNWTO indicators, the management of the Sesaot Tourism Village from the environmental and socio-cultural aspects that had been researched so far has been carried out most of them are quite good and from the economic aspects had been researched are in accordance with the UNWTO sustainable tourism indicators. It's just that there are several variables that need to be improved to adjust the indicators of sustainable tourism.
