PRODUKSI PROGRAM TALK SHOW EDUKASI SEKS DI RADIO YOGYAKARTA (STUDI KASUS PROGRAM KONSEKTASI DI RADIO RETJO BUNTUNG DAN OBSESSI DI RADIO SONORA )

Pendidikan seksual menjadi hal yang penting bagi pasangan suami istri. Hal ini karena dalam aktivitas seksual dibutuhkan kerjasama dan peran dari kedua belah pihak. Dua Radio di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yakni Radio Retjo Buntung dan Radio Sonora, memiliki program khusus untuk memberikan edukasi seksual bagi audiens dewasa. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses produksi kedua program yakni Konsektasi di Radio Retjo Buntung dan Obsessi di Radio Sonora Yogyakarta. Selain itu dalam penelitian juga akan dilihat perbedaan produksi dari kedua radio yang memliki karakteristik berbeda sebagai radio lokal dan radio berjejaring. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus mengingat di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, hanya dua radio tersebut yang memiliki program edukasi seks untuk dewasa. Acuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah standar operasional prosedur dalam produksi program. Analisisnya kemudian dikembangkan dengan konsep model komunikasi Melvin DeFleur untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari kedua program tersebut dalam mengedukasi masyarakat. Hasilnya adalah ditemukan karakteristik produksi yang berbeda pada kedua radio dalam proses planning, collecting, writing, dan On Air. Efektivitas program talkshow ini juga dapat diraih karena adanya interaksi dengan audiens menggunakan Whatsapp, SMS, dan telefon.

Sexual education is important for married couples, as sexual activity requires cooperation and roles from both of them. There are two radios in Special Region of Yogyakarta which have a sexual education program for their adult audiences, they are Retjo Buntung and Sonora. From this research, the researcher would like to understand how to produce the program, namely Konsektasi on Retjo Buntung Radio and Obsessi on Sonora Radio Yogyakarta. In addition, the research would also describe the differences in the production process which have different characteristics as a local radio and network radio. Case study is choosen as the method of this research. Because, In Special Region of Yogyakarta there are only two radio which provide sexual education program for adult audiences. The research employed standard procedure to produce radio program as a reference. The analysis was then developed with the concept of communication model by Melvin DeFleur to determine the effectiveness of both programs for educating the public. The result shows that, there are differences characteristics between Retjo Buntung radio and Sonora radio in the process of planning, collecting, writing, and On Air. Based on the Melvin DeFleur model, the effectiveness of this talk show program has been achieved because of the interactive interaction with the audience using Whatsapp, SMS, and telephone.
