APLIKASI PRESENSI DENGAN QRCODE BERBASIS MOBILE PADA PROGRAM STUDI KOMPUTER DAN SISTEM INFORMASI SEKOLAH VOKASI UGM

Sistem presensi di departemen Teknik Elektro dan Informatika khususnya prodi Komputer dan Sistem Informasi saat ini masih menggunakan media kertas dalam pencatatan kehadiran mahasiswa. Sistem seperti ini memiliki banyak kelemahan diantaranya proses presensi yang menghabiskan banyak waktu, proses rekapitulasi yang merepotkan, serta kemudahan mahasiswa untuk memalsukan tanda tangan. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, perlu dikembangkan aplikasi presensi dengan qrcode berbasis mobile pada departemen TEDI khususnya Program Studi Komputer dan Sistem Informasi untuk menanggulangi dan mengganti kelemahan sistem sebelumnya. Tujuan dibuat sistem informasi presensi pada platform mobile di prodi komputer dan sistem informasi diantaranya yaitu menggantikan sistem presensi pada media buku yang cukup sulit dalam hal perekapan presensi mahasiswa, perekapan secara otomatis presensi mahasiswa dan penambahan fitur keamanan dalam sistem presensi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi Presensi dengan Qrcode Berbasis Mobile pada Program Studi Komputer dan Sistem Informasi Sekolah Vokasi ini mampu melakukan perbaikan kelemahan pada presensi tradisional pada media buku. Aplikasi ini mampu mengefektifkan presensi dengan hanya melakukan scanning pada Qrcode. Sehingga melalui sistem seperti itu, perekapan presensi menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien. Disamping itu, masalah utama keamanan pada sistem presensi tradisional teratasi dengan melakukan filter IMEI atau nomor seri handphone pada setiap mahasiswa yang menggunakan aplikasi.

Attendance systems in the Department of Electrical and Informatics Engineering, especially Computer and Information System Program are currently still using paper media in recording student. Such a system has many weaknesses including the attendance process that spends a lot of time, a troublesome recapitulation process, and the ease of students to falsify signatures. Based on these problems, it is necessary to develop a attendance application with mobile-based qrcode in the TEDI department specifically the Computer and Information System Program to overcome and replace the previous system weaknesses. The purpose of creating a attendance information system on mobile platforms in Computer and Information System Program includes replacing the attendance system in book media which is quite difficult in terms of student recording, automatic recording of student and the addition of security features in student systems. The results showed that the Attendance Application with Mobile-Based Qrcode for Computer and Information System Program Sekolah Vokasi UGM was able to improve the weaknesses in traditional on book media. This application is able to streamline attendance by just scanning Qrcode. So that through such a system, attendance recording becomes easier and more efficient. Besides that, the main problem of security in the traditional attendance system is resolved by doing an IMEI filter or handphone serial number for each student who uses the application.
