Stand Up Comedy Tinjauan Filsafat Seni Leo Tolstoy

Dampak dari meledaknya peminat stand up comedy di Indonesia membuat stand up comedy di Indonesia terkesan monoton, karena banyak komika yang tampil dengan gaya yang begitu-begitu saja, tidak berusaha memahami aspek luas di luar stand up comedy. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis stand up comedy sebagai sarana komunikasi, dan menganalisis stand up comedy melalui teori komunikasi seni Leo Tolstoy. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian menggunakan studi pustaka. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis hermeneutis. Unsur metodis yang digunakan adalah deskripsi, interpretasi, koherensi intern, dan refleksi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu ekspresi komika dan ekspresi isi menjadi suatu hal yang penting dalam stand up comedy karena ekspresi komika dan ekspresi isi menjadi sarana komunikasi komika kepada penonton dalam penampilan stand up comedy. Stand up comedy dilihat dari tinjauan teori komunikasi Tolstoy stand up comedy merupakan salah satu seni yang dapat menularkan pikiran komika terhadap penonton, karena dapat membangkitkan emosi audiensi terhadap permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan seni menurut Tolstoy juga dapat diterapkan dalam stand up comedy yaitu untuk menyempurnakan kehidupan manusia, karena dalam stand up comedy berisi pokok pembahasan dalam bidang kehidupan yang dibawakan dalam ranah komedi. Stand up comedy juga terpengaruh dengan pandangan agama atau religiositas pada kondisi atau wilayah tertentu. Terbukti dengan stand up comedy di Indonesia yang tidak bisa sebebas-bebasnya membawakan muatan mengenai hal-hal agama dan sara. Sehingga hasil analisis stand up comedy dapat dikatakan seni sebagai komunikasi.

The purpose of this study was to analyze stand up comedy as a means of communication, and analyze stand up comedy through Leo Tolstoy's art communication theory. This research is a study using a library research. The method used is hermeneutical analysis. The methodical elements used are description, interpretation, internal coherence, and reflection. The conclusion of this study is that comic expression and content expression became an important thing in stand up comedy because comic expression and content expression became a communication tool for comic to the audience in stand up comedy performances. Stand up comedy seen from the review of Tolstoy's stand up comedy communication theory is one of the arts that can transmit the thoughts of comic to the audience, because it can arouse the audience's emotions on these problems. The aim of art according to Tolstoy can also be applied in stand up comedy, namely to perfect human life, because in stand up comedy it contains the subject matter of the field of life that is delivered in the realm of comedy. Stand up comedy is also influenced by religious views or religiosity in certain conditions or regions. Evidenced by stand up comedy in Indonesia, which cannot freely deliver content on matters of ethnic, religion, and race. So the results of stand up comedy analysis can be said of art as communication.
