PEMANFAATAN TRANSPORTASI BERBASIS APLIKASI ONLINE PADA MOBILITAS MAHASISWA UGM

Kota Yogyakarta yang dikenal sebagai Kota Pendidikan memiliki daya tarik yang tinggi dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pendidikan penduduknya. Interaksi dan aktivitas di Kota Yogyakarta tersebut memicu terciptanya mobilitas yang tinggi dalam kalangan pelajar dan mahasiswa, terutama mahasiswa Universitas Gadjah Mada. Mobilitas yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa UGM ditempuh melalui perjalanan menggunakan berbagai macam moda transportasi, termasuk transportasi online yang semakin dibutuhkan peranannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik demografis dan mobilitas mahasiswa UGM pengguna transportasi online, serta faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan mahasiswa UGM menggunakan jasa transportasi online. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuisioner yang ditujukan kepada mahasiswa aktif UGM tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data primer karakteristik dan mobilitas pengguna dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif, sedangkan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan antara karakteristik dengan mobilitas dianalisis dengan uji statistik korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mahasiswa pengguna transportasi online didominasi oleh mahasiswi usia produktif dan sudah memasuki tahun perkuliahan akhir, serta berasal dari luar kota Yogyakarta dengan dominasi pengeluaran antara Rp 500.000 - Rp 1.000.000 per bulan. Kemampuan berkendara tidak mempengaruhi penggunaan transportasi online. Berdasarkan penggunaan untuk mobilitas, transportasi online merupakan moda transportasi sekunder bagi mahasiswa UGM karena frekuensi dan intensitas penggunaannya tidak signifikan dan termasuk dalam kelompok pemenuhan kebutuhan choice. Penggunaan transportasi online didominasi oleh maksud perjalanan menuju rumah. Sementara itu, pengeluaran per bulan menjadi faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa menggunakan transportasi online, semakin sesuai biaya jasa transportasi online dengan pendapatan mahasiswa maka semakin tinggi pula penggunaannya.

Yogyakarta City as known as highly educated city attracts high fulfillment of society education needs. Education interactions and activities in Yogyakarta City trigger high mobility among students, especially students of Universitas Gadjah Mada. The students mobile through variety kind of transportation, including online transportation which its role is more needed these days. Aims of this research are to identify the demographic characteristics of online transportation user among students of UGM, to identify the mobility characteristics of online transportation user, and to know factors why online transportation is used by students. This research uses quantitative approach using questionnaires as survey method subjected to active students of UGM school year 2017/2018. Samples are collected by purposive sampling method. The mobility and demographic characteristics as primer data are analyzed by descriptive quantitative technique, meanwhile related factors between demographic characteristics and transportation mobility are tested by statistic correlation. The results show that students who use online transportation are dominated by female students within productive age of students and known as senior students, also come from outside Yogyakarta City with expense between Rp 500.000 - Rp 1.000.000 per month. Beside those characteristics, driving ability does not affect the use of online transportation. Based on the use of mobility, online transportation is a secondary mode of transportation students because the frequency and intensity of their use is not significant included in the group of choice fulfillment needs. Online transportation is dominated by the purpose of the trip to the house. Meanwhile, monthly expense become one of factors why they choose online transportation. The more suitable online transportation fare to the their monthly expense, the more they use it.
