Analisis Resepsi Pahlawan Wanita dalam Drama Korea Strong Woman Do Bong Soon pada Audiens Remaja Wanita

ABSTRAKSI Kemunculan wanita dalam drama korea cenderung mendapatkan ketidakadilan. Peran wanita selalu mendapatkan domestifikasi dari produsen pesan teks drama korea. Hal ini berbanding terbalik dengan keadaan laki-laki. Namun belakangan ini mulai bermunculan drama-drama korea yang menggambarkan peran wanita jauh berbeda dari stereotipnya. Salah satunya adalah drama korea Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon merupakan drama produksi JTBC yang mengangkat tema pahlawan wanita yang memberantas kejahatan di masyarakat. Menggunakan teori resepsi Stuart Hall dengan model encoding/decoding, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengulas resepsi audiens remaja wanita terkait pahlawan wanita dalam drama korea Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Data penelitan diperoleh dengan cara survei dan wawancara mendalam kepada enam wanita penggemar drama korea, untuk mencari tahu pemaknaan mereka terkait pahlawan wanita dalam drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden remaja wanita memiliki resepsi masing-masing terhadap topik pahlawan wanita dalam drama korea Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Adanya perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam pendidikan terkait isu gender khususnya isu wanita memiliki pengaruh besar dalam pemaknaan terhadap pahlawan wanita. Ditambah dengan dinamika pengalaman responden saat menyaksikan drama korea khususnya pada preferensi genre yang cukup beragam. Ini memicu perbedaan pemaknaan pahlawan wanita pada masing masing responden remaja wanita dalam drama korea Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. ABSTRACT The appearance of women in korean dramas tends to get injustice. The woman roles always get domestication from korean drama text message producers. This is different with the condition of man roles. However, this day, korean dramas began to emerge the woman roles which is different from their stereotypes. One of them is Strong Woman Do Bong Soon korean drama. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon korean drama is produced by JTBC that carries the theme of woman heroes who eradicate crime in the society. Using Stuart Hall’s reception theory with the Encoding/Decoding model, this research aims to find out the interpretation of young women audience in the Strong Woman Do Bong Soon korean drama. This research data was obtained by survey pra-research and in-depth interviews six women korean drama fans, to find out how they interpret woman heroes in the Strong Woman Do Bong Soon korean drama. The result of the research showed that young female respondents had their owned perceptions about the topic of female heroes in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon korean drama. There are differences in knowledge and experience in education related to gender issues specifically for women issues which have a big impact in the meaning of female heroes. Coupled with the dynamics of the respondent's experience when watching Korean dramas especially in the diverse genres. These aspects triggered the difference meanings of female heroes in each of the young female respondents in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon korean drama Key words: reception analysis, korean drama, women heroes, korean drama fans
