Kerjasama sektor sampah dalam Sekretariat Bersama Kartamantul merupakan salah satu praktik kerjasama di Indonesia yang berhasil. Keberhasilan tersebut di pengaruhi oleh banyak sebab. Salah satu penyebab keberhasilan tersebut adalah bentuk kepemimpinan yang terdapat pada Sekber Kartamantul yang menggunakan bentuk kepemimpinan kolektif. Kepemimpinan kolektif adalah bentuk kepemimpinan yang melibatkan banyak aktor, sehingga dinamika yang terdapat didalamnya akan berbeda dengan organisasi pada umumnya. Dengan perlibatan banyak aktor dalam dinamika pengambilan keputusan, Sekber Kartamantul membutuhkan bentuk kepemimpinan yang dapat menjamin semua Pemkot dan Pemda yang terlibat dalam mendapatkan keuntungan dan tidak hanya menguntungkan sebagian pihak saja. Penelitian mengenai kepemimpinan bersama menjadi menarik karena, pertama sangat jarang penelitian yang melihat aspek kepemimpinan dalam kerjasama. Kedua belum banyak penelitian di Indonesia yang membahas dinamika kepemimpinan kolektif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh kepemimpinan Kolektif yang terdapat pada Sekber Kartamantul berpengaruh kepada keberlanjutan kerjasama. Penelitian ini mengggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memperoleh kedalaman data. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan bersama Sekber Kartamantul merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung keberlanjutan kerjsaama. Hal tersbut dalam terlihat dari pengalihan fungsi pemimpin kerjasama kepada aktor netral serta kedekatan antar anggota.

One of the causes of such success is the form of leadership on Kartamantul Joint Secretariat that uses a form of collective leadership. Collective leadership is a form of leadership involves many actors, so the dynamics contained therein will vary with the Organization in General. With many of the actors involved in the dynamics of decision-making, Kartamantul Joint Secretariat takes the form of leadership can ensure all Government and local government involved in benefit and not only benefit some parties only. Research on collective leadership are attractive because, first research very rarely seen aspect of leadership in cooperation. Second, not much research in Indonesia that discusses the dynamics of collective leadership. The purpose of this research was to describe the influence of Collective leadership in Kartamantul Joint Secretariat affect the sustainability of cooperation. This research using a qualitative approach to obtain the depth of data. Data collection method using interview techniques and the study of the literature. The results of the research show that the leadership of the joint Kartamantul Joint Secretariat is one of the factors supporting the sustainability of cooperation. It is visible from the transfer function of the leader of a neutral actor to cooperation and closeness between members.
